I like this straightener because it leaves my long hair super soft and shiny. I does have a slight tendency to tug sometimes (which causes breakage-eek!) but that is the only drawback. The plates smooth over my hair and usually straighten without having to go over sections again and again- minimizing damage. If you are looking for a quality straightener but you're on a budget, this is a good choice. — 3 years, 8 months ago

I have long frizzy wavy hair and this straightener WORKS!! It leaves my hair so soft and super straight. Even my 8 year old Daughter ( who hates for me to play with her hair ) LOVES it! I love this flat iron for several reasons. PROS - its cheap $35, im on my 2nd the 1st one lasted 3 years and it didnt break.. i just gunked it up with product so I use it for travel - its 2 inches wide so it takes less time to straighten thick/long hair - it has a digital temp, you know exactly how hot it is and gets HOT very fast - it has an auto shut off feature after 30 minutes - it has ceramic plates, i think theyre just ceramic coated plates but they make hair pretty easily to straighten without snagging like metal one.. and because of price you dont have to worry about breaking or losing like with high endflat irons My hair is long with waves/loose curls. Blow drying alone with a paddle brush will more or less straighten but leaves it frizzy. This flat iron is wide enough for go through my hair quickly and throughly. 2in width is great for doing bigger sections at a time or doing touch ups the next day in less than 3 minutes. It can cakeup with product over time to I avoid using anything but straightening serum and flat iron spray before using. The gratest thing is even if you abuse yours like I do, its only $35 to replace, Ive had $100+ flat irons I never use because they never seem hot enough or they are very thin and take forever to straighten all my hair. — 8 months, 1 week ago

I absolutely love this flat iron, even though it looks a little too 1990's. I have somewhat frizzy waves, and it leaves my hair poker straight after running it through my hair once. The LCD heat setting is really nice and it heats up quite fast. I only wished it had the closing lock as advertised. Also, a comb attachment at the end (like conair's) would have been nice to smooth my hair before I flat-ironed it. — 2 years, 9 months ago

I have really thick and curly hair and this straightener works really well, really quickly. I love that you can adjust the temperature so that it works for your hair type. My only issue is that it is a little heavy and when you have as much hair as I do, it gets tiresome. — 3 years, 7 months ago
