Performs for the price

I like this straightener because it leaves my long hair super soft and shiny. I does have a slight tendency to tug sometimes (which causes breakage-eek!) but that is the only drawback. The plates smooth over my hair and usually straighten without having to go over sections again and again- minimizing damage. If you are looking for a quality straightener but you're on a budget, this is a good choice.

Great straightener

The tool heats up quickly and got my hair straight with only one swipe. I also love the conditioning, protective serum that comes with it-it made me feel better about using damaging heat on my hair!

very straight hair!

This is a great straightener. My hair, which is usually very curly and fizzy stayed soft and straight all day. I enjoy the sleek design, the heat settings and the Vapor Infusion Technology. The vapor aspect to this straightener is new to me; I'm not sure how well it really works, however the conditioner that it comes with smells very nice! I have always loved Remington straighteners so I would definitely recommend this one!

Eh...

I loved this when it worked. I had it for just over a year and one of the plates stopped heating so it no longer worked. I was really disappointed.

Fantastic for the price

I have long frizzy wavy hair and this straightener WORKS!! It leaves my hair so soft and super straight. Even my 8 year old Daughter ( who hates for me to play with her hair ) LOVES it! She's been up at 6 am just for me to work her in to my routine so I can do her hair. This is absolutely the best one I have ever used!

RemingtonT Studio straightener

I have short, shoulder length hair, this is the first iron I purchaced, my hair is so silky and soft after use. The only con would be it's heavy.

Great for long hair! Awesome value for price.

I love this flat iron for several reasons. PROS - its cheap $35, im on my 2nd the 1st one lasted 3 years and it didnt break.. i just gunked it up with product so I use it for travel - its 2 inches wide so it takes less time to straighten thick/long hair - it has a digital temp, you know exactly how hot it is and gets HOT very fast - it has an auto shut off feature after 30 minutes - it has cerami...read morec plates, i think theyre just ceramic coated plates but they make hair pretty easily to straighten without snagging like metal one.. and because of price you dont have to worry about breaking or losing like with high endflat irons My hair is long with waves/loose curls. Blow drying alone with a paddle brush will more or less straighten but leaves it frizzy. This flat iron is wide enough for go through my hair quickly and throughly. 2in width is great for doing bigger sections at a time or doing touch ups the next day in less than 3 minutes. It can cakeup with product over time to I avoid using anything but straightening serum and flat iron spray before using. The gratest thing is even if you abuse yours like I do, its only $35 to replace, Ive had $100+ flat irons I never use because they never seem hot enough or they are very thin and take forever to straighten all my hair.

Poker Straight

I absolutely love this flat iron, even though it looks a little too 1990's. I have somewhat frizzy waves, and it leaves my hair poker straight after running it through my hair once. The LCD heat setting is really nice and it heats up quite fast. I only wished it had the closing lock as advertised. Also, a comb attachment at the end (like conair's) would have been nice to smooth my hair before I flat-ironed it.

Best hair iron I have used!

I have been straightening my hair since High school so for the past 8 years I have experience with flat irons and thus far is the best Iron I have used and owned works so much better than the Chi at a fraction of the price i have had mine for 2 years now and it still works great!

Pretty Great Straightener!

I have really thick and curly hair and this straightener works really well, really quickly. I love that you can adjust the temperature so that it works for your hair type. My only issue is that it is a little heavy and when you have as much hair as I do, it gets tiresome.
