I really like this product, received a sample at a tarte event at ulta. Went on nice and smooth minimal clumping. I felt one or two swipes was enough for me. Gave enough color to the ends of my lashes and make them look super long. If you over apply this it would definitly make a mess. Sorry Tarte but this is not a stain. This is a shellac of a mascara that does not come off! And who really wants thick, clumpy mascara on their lashes for 4 days straight?? Not me.
