Even if this isn't your "daily" lotion, keeping this around is well worth it & a great idea! For mom's who have itchy kiddos - this is a life saver, for mom's who are always cleaning & doing dishes - this is a must to keep by the kitchen sink. So the smell may linger for a bit, but if it's the smell that keeps you from trying, get over that because this is worth the benefit of how well it actually works. The only relief from a all over body rash

When i got married, I did'nt realize how stressed I was but my body did. I broke out in a horrible rash all over! i went to the hospital and they gave me nothing that helped. i finally went to Walmart and picked up The Gold Bond extra strengh medicated lotion. It also said it was for itching. It was the only thing I found that gave me any relief. Great, except for the smell

This Gold Bond lotion is a godsend for really dry, itchy skin in the Winter - except for one thing... the menthol. It's a plus but also a minus. I was suffering badly one Christmas a few years ago, my skin was so red & raw. I used this after my shower and caught the chills, my skin was absolutely freezing! The Dimethicone it contains is nice & moisturizing, but the smell leaves something to be desired... very medicated.
