Surprisingly mild & gentle....maybe only for my skin....
Wow, I am surprised to see a few negative reviews here. I think this scrub is great. I had been believing that Clearasil was too harsh/strong and the product is intended more for teenagers. But these exfoliating scrub beads are very micro. I mean, these beads/grains are really small, and yes, smaller than St. Ives apricot scrub, Neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub or Clean & Clear morning burst scrub! It is Gentle and mild that I really can wash with them daily. The beads gradually melt away while I massage my face. Since this is scrub not facial wash, it does not lather at all, but my skin still feel clean after washing with this. Too drying
This is definitely one of the most drying acne products I've used. I have some spots on my face that are prone to flaky, peeling skin, and this really worsened that problem - even with moisturizer applied afterwards. I can't say it's effectiveness in fighting acne, because I had to stop using it due to irritation. Perhaps it's not as suitable for adult skin as it is for teenagers'. Dries out your skin !
I brought this product thinking it would prevent and get rid of my pimples but after the first few uses I began to notice it was drying out my skin, especially around my nose area despite using various creams and moisturizers after applying the product.
