Extra Moisturizing!
This conditioner moisturizes very well. It's like it seals in moisture in every hair. This line is a little expensive but does a great job if you need the extra moisturizing. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Conditioner is as Conditioner Does
Beauty Product Review of Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner, and Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque Beauty Is As Beauty Does "Our mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in, from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society. At Aveda, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world". Reviewed by Beckie In July of 2008 Aveda introduced Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner, and Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque, a hair care system to provide extraordinary moisture and suppleness to instantly transform even the driest, most brittle hair without weighing it down. According to Aveda, the three products instantly improves dry hair up to 63%* * In a clinical wet combing study, condition was improved after shampoo, conditioner and masque. HOW TO USE: Step 1: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo: a luxurious, concentrated shampoo. Use daily to drench dry, brittle hair with moisture. Step 2: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner: a luxurious conditioner. Use daily to hydrate dry, brittle hair and detangle. Step 3: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque: a luxurious intensive treatment for special care. Use weekly or as needed to penetrate dry, brittle hair with intense, long-lasting moisture. INGREDIENTS: Patent-pending Deep-Moisture Complex—a blend of buriti oil, pomegranate and palm-derived conditioners—penetrates to moisturize dry hair. Macadamia nut oil—helps detangle hair and improves combability. Meadowfoam oil and certified organic jojoba, soybean and sunflower seed oils—help seal in moisture to provide long-lasting results. TOXICITY: Skin Deep Cosmetic Dataabase listed 117 Aveda products, but at this juncture, neither Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo, conditioner, or masque were listed. It is worth noting that most of the Aveda products had a low to moderate hazard rating according to Skin Deep. SCENT: Organic floral scent blended with certified organic essential oils which include certified organic palmarosa, certified organic ylang ylang, and certified organic rose geramium with a hint of engaging certified organic vanilla. PACKAGING: Tubes are 35% post-consumer recycled HDPE (high density polyethylene) with a flip top cap. MANUFACTURING: Manufactured with 100% wind power. Aveda’s funding of new wind energy sources generates enough wind energy to offset 100% of the electricity use by our primary manufacturing facility in Minnesota. COMMENTS: Although I have been a fan of Aveda for more than a decade and have purchased and used almost every hair care product in their line, I hadn't been introduced to the Dry Remedy trio until a few weeks ago. Prior to the test-drive, my hair cocktail of choice was Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner, and a weekly deep conditioning treatment with Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. With 50 percent gray hair, which gets a monthly tint and quarterly highlighting, I have a plethora of issues that have mostly been resolved in the past with using Aveda products. I found that Dry Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner didn't address the issues as well as the winning combination that I had previously used. With more flyaways than normal and a parched texture to my hair after a few weeks of use, I am going to revert back to my hair care trifecta: Smooth Infusion shampoo and conditioner and Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment, alternating with Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque, which I felt equally conditioned my hair as well as Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. WHO IS DRY REMEDY FOR: Women with dry, brittle hair lacking moisture. You might need to tweak your hair cocktail to fit your needs, but all in all, Aveda is an earth-friendly company that offers hair care products containing certified organic ingredients. Yes, beauty is as beauty does... PRICE: While supplies last, you can purchase Dry Remedy Moisturizing Kit, which includes all three products plus a treatment comb, and save $10. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

A Okay
It takes a lot of special ingredients to soften a thick Asian course hair. It's a good conditioner, but my hair requires more to tame and manageable. I do admire Aveda's quality ingredients. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
