Extra Moisturizing!
TBjunkie (678 reviews)This conditioner moisturizes very well. It's like it seals in moisture in every hair. This line is a little expensive but does a great job if you need the extra moisturizing. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Conditioner is as Conditioner Does
girlwomanbeautybrainsblog (232 reviews)Beauty Product Review of Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner, and Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque Beauty Is As Beauty Does "Our mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in, from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society. At Aveda, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world". Reviewed by Beckie In July of 2008 Aveda introduced Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner, and Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque, a hair care system to provide extraordinary moisture and suppleness to instantly transform even the driest, most brittle hair without weighing it down. According to Aveda, the three products instantly improves dry hair up to 63%* * In a clinical wet combing study, condition was improved after shampoo, conditioner and masque. HOW TO USE: Step 1: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo: a luxurious, concentrated shampoo. Use daily to drench dry, brittle hair with moisture. Step 2: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner: a luxurious conditioner. Use daily to hydrate dry, brittle hair and detangle. Step 3: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque: a luxurious intensive treatment for special care. Use weekly or as needed to penetrate dry, brittle hair with intense, long-lasting moisture. INGREDIENTS: Patent-pending Deep-Moisture Complex—a blend of buriti oil, pomegranate and palm-derived conditioners—penetrates to moisturize dry hair. Macadamia nut oil—helps detangle hair and improves combability. Meadowfoam oil and certified organic jojoba, soybean and sunflower seed oils—help seal in moisture to provide long-lasting results. TOXICITY: Skin Deep Cosmetic Dataabase listed 117 Aveda products, but at this juncture, neither Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo, conditioner, or masque were listed. It is worth noting that most of the Aveda products had a low to moderate hazard rating according to Skin Deep. SCENT: Organic floral scent blended with certified organic essential oils which include certified organic palmarosa, certified organic ylang ylang, and certified organic rose geramium with a hint of engaging certified organic vanilla. PACKAGING: Tubes are 35% post-consumer recycled HDPE (high density polyethylene) with a flip top cap. MANUFACTURING: Manufactured with 100% wind power. Aveda’s funding of new wind energy sources generates enough wind energy to offset 100% of the electricity use by our primary manufacturing facility in Minnesota. COMMENTS: Although I have been a fan of Aveda for more than a decade and have purchased and used almost every hair care product in their line, I hadn't been introduced to the Dry Remedy trio until a few weeks ago. Prior to the test-drive, my hair cocktail of choice was Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner, and a weekly deep conditioning treatment with Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. With 50 percent gray hair, which gets a monthly tint and quarterly highlighting, I have a plethora of issues that have mostly been resolved in the past with using Aveda products. I found that Dry Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner didn't address the issues as well as the winning combination that I had previously used. With more flyaways than normal and a parched texture to my hair after a few weeks of use, I am going to revert back to my hair care trifecta: Smooth Infusion shampoo and conditioner and Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment, alternating with Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque, which I felt equally conditioned my hair as well as Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. WHO IS DRY REMEDY FOR: Women with dry, brittle hair lacking moisture. You might need to tweak your hair cocktail to fit your needs, but all in all, Aveda is an earth-friendly company that offers hair care products containing certified organic ingredients. Yes, beauty is as beauty does... PRICE: While supplies last, you can purchase Dry Remedy Moisturizing Kit, which includes all three products plus a treatment comb, and save $10. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Perfect!
sweetjlee (33 reviews)My daughter has fine, dry, wavy hair and I had a terrible time finding something that added enough moisture to her hair to keep it from looking wild and flyaway. Dry Remedy provided just the "cure". From the first use, her hair has been tamer, shinier and more manageable. The conditioner hydrates hair incredibly well without weighing it down. I'll never use anything else on her. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not as amazing as the shampoo
mikaela (92 reviews)Wow - Aveda's Dry Remedy Shampoo blew me away. The scent is overwhelmingly hippie with a capital H, but when it says it 'drenches' your hair with moisture, it really means it! I squirted this into my hand, then proceeded to check the bottle not once, but twice to make sure I had really grabbed the shampoo. It's so thick and creamy, I wholeheartedly thought it was conditioner. This shampoo is awesome (except for the scent) and really helps to heal dry hair. I was more disappointed in the Dry Remedy Conditioner and the Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque. Even though the featured ingredient (Buriti oil) is featured in all three products, the shampoo is really the most moisturizing product in the trio. Strange! — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Left my hair too "bed-heady"
bionicbeauty (127 reviews)Well, bascially everything I said about the Shampoo applies to the Dry Remedy Conditioner. It's a good product, but nothing stellar. Again, the scent is wonderful, but my fine, colored hair was a flyaway and overly-bed-headed mess after use. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

An Ok conditioner
carleenp (22 reviews)A good every day conditioner that does a decent job detangling. I consider it a good product that does not necessarily stand out over others in its price range. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Expensive, But It Works
Share (20 reviews)I have always used this product with my Aveda Dry Recovery Shampoo - so I can't really say how this works on its own. However when I use this with the shampoo, my hair is not only extremely soft and shiny, but the frizziness that I usually have to deal with, is very subdued. This conditioner has an extremely thick texture - it reminds me of toothpaste actually. The scent is extremely similar to the shampoo, which makes my shower smell very organic-y when I use these. Like the shampoo, this product has many organic ingredients in it, which is a major plus for many people - I personally don't put this at the top of my priority list. There really isn't much to say about this conditioner, it does it's job very well, and if you use it over a long period of time, you will really see it change your hair. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

great everyday coonditioner
beauty_girl_musings (129 reviews)Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner is probably one the deepest conditioning regular conditioners i have used in a long time. the consistency is fabulous (yet not as thick as the shampoo, go figure) and coats hair with amazing moisturizing ingredients. the smell has an earthy blend, but is somewhat more pleasant than the shampoo (again, go figure). i really like that the formula isn't super heavy and i only have to use a little to get the yummy conditioning my hair loves! after i style it, my hair is full of bounce and shine! — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not a great conditioner for dry and highly textured hair...
Beauty365 (7 reviews)Aveda! What high hopes I had for the new Dry Remedy collection! I recently checked out all three components of this line, the Moisturizing Shampoo, the Moisturizing Conditioner and the Moisturizing Treatment Masque and was actually a little let down. My hair is about as dry as it comes and it’s also highly textured (I guess that’s what we’re calling it these days). If you still use Andre Walker’s curl pattern classification system , I’d be a 4B – with pretty acute tenderheadedness to boot. That said, I am constantly on the hunt for a super rich, creamy and moisturizing weekly conditioner and the Moisturizing Conditioner component of this trio didn’t quite cut it. It was a little watery and I didn’t feel like I was using a super moisturizing product. If your hair is similar to mine, you can definitely skip this part. On a brighter note, the shampoo was fab! You can’t really go wrong with a shampoo. It’s creamy, it foams and it’s moisturizing. No complaints! The Moisturizing Treatment Masque was not bad. I found that this intensive treatment provided my hair with a better fit for a weekly conditioner than the Moisturizing Conditioner. All three products in this line are scented with Aveda’s Own Pure-Fume â„¢, a blend of certified organic palmarosa, ylang ylang and rose geranium. They also feature Aveda’s patent pending Deep Moisture Complex, a conditioning blend that features the exotic buriti oil . Have any of you guys had a chance to try this line out? — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
