Great
i like this MUCH better than the original Black Out. Huge perk with the bigger brush and that it's waterproof. Love it. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Dior Show Mascara
Unimpressed. This is supposed to be one of the best mascaras on the market, but it did nothing for me. I have no idea what everyone is raving about. Maybe I got a bad tube, that's possible, but I'm not about to purchase a second in order to find out. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Dior BlackOut Mascara
I think the combination of the brush and the formula make this a great masacara. The brush is big and it really separates my lashes and makes them look longer than normal (I have very sparse lashes and ZERO lower lashes). The formula is very smooth and there is no clumping. Even when applying a second coat it stays smooth. I wear it for an average of 12 hours and it there is no change in the way my lashes look. When removing I used a cold cream at first and then my normal cleanser. Even though I think I removed it all my lashes still looked like I was wearing the mascara (I confirmed that I removed it because it didn't wind up on my pillow in the morning). Over all I really like this product and I would would recommend to other as well. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Very Black!
If you want dramatic lashes, this is it! Volumizes and lengthens. It has more of a wet formula than the original Diorshow, which for some people, could be a hassle, but it coats your lashes better in my opinion. If you swipe Black Out on a tissue beside just a regular black mascara, you can really tell the difference a how much darker the Black Out is. Since is waterproof it wont smudge or smear and give you racoon eyes like the regular Black Out would. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Clump
I really prefer the regular formula to the water-proof version. I feel like it the water-proof incarnation clumps so the volume doesn't look as nice. The brush also seems bigger which is big problem for me because I have sparse, thin lower lashes so if I try to use this brush to coat them, it's a big mess. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Removal is a B
Oh my gosh. This product is crazy hard to get off. I have used the DIOR make up remover and PETROLEUM jelly trying to remove it. It takes about 5 minutes just to see some progress and forget about the amount of cotton. I still have some residue on my lashes the next morning and it makes lashes look clumpy and heavy. YUCK. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Better than most
Lets start with the brush. It is definitely not as intimidating as some of the mascaras I’ve used but it is nice and sturdy. The tapered end makes it easy to get to the inner and outer corner lashes, but the depth of the bristles makes it very hard to get the lower lashes without getting your skin as well. The formula? It is a thick consistency, similar to Jiffy Peanut butter. The thick formula coats the lashes nicely and adds volume as well as some length. It holds a curl moderately well and lasts a good 10 hours before things start getting flaky. It is indeed waterproof – however don’t cry too much or it will eventually start getting clumpier. Speaking of clumpy, the distance between the bristles in the wand are a bit too big for my taste and lead to some clumping of my lashes. It’s not a horrible spider leg looking clump but it is still a clump nonetheless. Due to the thickness it is a heavier formula than others, but I still have some natural feel to my lashes unlike others. Mascara – to me – is a MUST. I rarely go without it, and if I can only do two pieces of makeup in my day it will be Mascara and Eyebrow powder. Having a waterproof mascara is also a must, there are times – especially in Seattle – where your face will get wet. When your face does get wet the last thing you want to look like is The Joker from Batman. This does the job, and does a better job than most other waterproof mascaras I've tried at doing things like volumizing and lengthening — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love it love it love it
Im definitely a mascara person, and I love the drama this gives me. It really thickens my long but sparse lashes, and I love that Dior has SUPER BLACK shades- my favorite for night time wear. Worth the price, especially since this really isn't your everyday kind of mascara — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Best mascara!
I actually use the non-waterproof one, but I love it! It doesnt smudge at all. I have thin and short asian eyelashes. My close friends have seen me without mascara, and when I use this mascara (with Dior primer), they ask me if I put on fake lashes! The only reason I have this 9 and not 10 is because it does seem to clump up abit! But other than that, I love it and would definetly recommend! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
