great lip balm!
i have the lip conditioner in fuschia fix from the mac dsquared line. first of all, the color goes on mostly sheer. it's not too pigmented, which i believe is perfect for an everyday casual lip balm. the product is actually very moisturizing on my lips and i can feel it working and making my lips smoother. the spf 15 is very impressive since lip balms usually have low spfs. the tub brings SO much product that it has lasted me ove a year already. i believe its a good deal :)This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Great Results but NOT Gluten-Free
A MAC rep used this on my lips prior to testing a lip color on me. It moisturized and left me with smooth lips that took the color perfectly. When I read the ingredients however, my stomach dropped. Along with almond oil and Shea butter, this product has wheat germ oil, and for those of us who are sensitive to gluten, this is not good news. If you are not sensitive to gluten, the product is great at preparing your lips for make-up. It Works!
Even though the price is a bit high, they give a pretty generous amount of product. It does give your lips moisture and it lasts very long throughout the day. I especially like the Tinted ones. If you are using this before applying lipstick, I would blot it first though because it can go on very thick. I like that it has SPF in it so its great to wear to the beach or park or if your exercizing. Very nice

It is just "okay"
I have to say that I wasn't impressed. It hydrates somewhat but because I suffer from dry lips, my top picks are Aquaphor and Smith's Rose Bud Salve. I think it is great that it is SPF but I not a fan. Unfortunately, the scent of MAC produts is off-putting to me and wearing this right under my nose doesn't convince me otherwise. one of my favorite lip products
i loved this when it was in a different container, then MAC overhauled their whole skincare line. now with the sleek look and rubberized top it's cuter, not sure if the size is bigger, although it looks it. the scent like most of MAC lip products is vanilla frosting with a sugary taste; doesn't hurt to have a nice smelling/tasting lip product for once. it appears a little luminescent in the pot an...read mored it definitely isn't purely clear, a little opal. it's not too thin, not too thick. i do think it softens a bit, however it wouldn't "heal" severely dry or cracked lips- it's a conditioner not a treatment. it is a good base for lipstick. i don't agree with another reviewer that you need a brush--pots are primarily for finger use, but it is a little unsanitary to use your finger. but with MAC, 6 empty containers = 1 free lipstick at any counter so that doesn't hurt!!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love this stuff! It is very creamy and hydrating! The only thing...I wish they had colors in the tinted form that matched my skin tone. i love this product! my lips are normally very dry and within the first couple of applications, my lips became visibly smoother! they also tend to make your lips look slightly plumper. the only downside is that it needs to be applied with a brush.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
