Great BHA Product!

I used this while Neutrogena got their shisnit together between clear pore treatment and the new acne stress gel. This did just fine as a clear pore treatment substitute. Though I didn't like the fact that I had to pay shipping so I had to take away a star. If Paula's Choice products could be purchased at Target or the drug store, then I would give this a whopping 10 stars!06/11/2008

      A must have for black heads

      I started using Paula's choice about 5 years ago when i had serious skin problems because of hormone imbalances. I have very oily skin and blackheads and this is the only product I've found that provides any solution. My blackheads are at a minimum and all the funny skin tags i had fell off. Appropriate for all skin types, but best for someone with normal to oily or combination skin prone to blemishes and blackheads.   # 1% salicylic acid helps smooth skin's texture and minimize blemishes and blackheads   # pH of 3.4 is optimal for effective exfoliation   # 100% fragrance- and colorant-free

      • Directions

      • Dispense about a dime-sized amount onto your fingertips and smooth sparingly onto clean skin, avoiding direct contact with eyes. Depending on your skin type, follow with one of Paula's Choice Blemish Fighting Solutions (if needed). During the day, follow with the appropriate Paula's Choice sunscreen or your foundation with sunscreen. At night, apply the appropriate Paula's Choice moisturizer or specialty product after this product or you can use the BHA product alone.

      • Water, Methylpropanediol (slip agent/water-binding agent), Salicylic Acid 1% (beta hydroxy acid/exfoliant), Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Extract (anti-irritant/antioxidant), Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20 (water-binding agents), Hydroxyethylcellulose (gel-based thickener), PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone (silicone-based thickener), Epilobium Angustifolium (Willow Herb) Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Bisabolol (anti-irritants), Portulaca Oleracea (Purslane) Extract (antioxidant), Tetrasodium EDTA (preservative), Sodium Hydroxide (pH balancer).
