Great Lip Pencil
A lip pencil is still a "must" for me. It delineates and perfects your pout. Sometimes I outline my lips and then fill them in with the same color for all-day wear. NYX Cosmetics offers sixty ('count em) wearable, soft pencils for $3.50. I like the way they apply--no tugging involved. I like the wear. And I am crazy about the colors. NYX cosmetics is my favorite makeup line out there for a few reasons- the products are inexpensive, the pigmentation is out of control awesome, and they have every color you can think of. The liner is soft going on, stays on after I put on balm and whatever color it is I want. I can get away with using it about 5 times before it needs to be sharpened and wears beautifully with all colors I have. I tend to purchase pinks because they are so feminine and pink is my favorite color. Also, I have a medium tan skin color and I receive alot of compliments on wearing pink lips. I love pairing this with my new Japonesque lipstick. I prefer to stick to less expensive lip liners because I go through them frequently and use it on my entire lip. How can i feel guilty when they bad boys are only $3.50 a pop?! Most of the time Ulta has buy one get one half off promotions on these too and you can use their coupons on them!! There are so many different colors to choose from (as always with NYX) so I would say that is the only bad thing about them; however as I said they're so cheap who cares!? Awesome but not long lasting
This liner definitely slides on very smoothly without any tugging or discomfort, I believe because the consistency is a bit thin, this is probably why the liner does slide on very easily. Because of this, the liner takes a while to dry (about 3-5 minutes) and although it is SUPER pigmented, the product itself didn’t last all day as I had hoped. In addition, it does smudge a bit too easily a fi...read morerst, definitely doesn’t stay on with a bit of rubbing. Also, the liner itself didn’t apply well over eyeshadow probably because of its thin consistency. soft & pigmented
These pencils glide on without a tug, deposit lots of color, and feels great on lips. The light colors are also well pigmented and can define lips, unlike many brands' lighter color lipliners. I wish they came out with tons of shades so I can wear these as lipsticks. That's how soft and creamy these are! My Go-To Lip Product!
This lip pencil is so wonderful. It only costs about 3 - 4 dollars at Ulta or Target and wears well. I love the variety of colors and the color pay off. The colors are true and vibrant. It seems like the retailers are always missing some of the colors that are on the NYX website; and 2. I wish there was some moisturizing element in the formula. The formula is not creamy, and the lip pencil leaves a matte color on your lips. I would be sure to apply Vaseline or lip balm before applying it. My lips tend to get dry easily anyways and I would rather not enhance or highlight the cracks on my lips by going without Vaseline. Great!
I bought this pencil in hot red 817. I used it all over my lips on a few occasions with different pressures so that I would get a deep, dark pink, reds, etc. Every time, the color lasted all day. I kind of wish the color didn't rub off when I applied lip balm over it, though. Best of drugstore options
If you have to buy drugstore, get this one. The colors are done really nicely, pricing is fair, and quality is decent. is it better than the brands you can buy at Sephora? What a Drag
I love the colors and the price, so I picked up a few of these cute little liners. Unless I put lip balm on first they drag and I have to tug them across my lips. LOVE this product
This is the best lipliner that I have ever used, I have many colors and it is one that I use to the end.
