Standard drugstore fare?
I had a bronze shade of this, and it was just okay. It's a decent drugstore product, but nothing exceptional. I love that Milani has a nice range of colors, but the quality is just alright. I have to use primer with it to get decent length of wear. The clear compact is nice because you can easily see which color is inside. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Crying Colors
Unless you're determined to purchase the deeper shades of these pigments, I wouldn't be too excited applying these eyeshadows on. They're a hit or miss type of deal which can make a consumer feel like a fool and sometimes get lucky. The Storm shade particularly is quite deep, not exactly the rich starry black it appears in the pot but a charcoal black to a medium gray depending on how you apply it. Watch the loose particles! These are a pain to remove even with makeup removers, these will streak onto the face making people look like clowns and abstract art. But the lighter shades that are white, purple, pink and so forth seem to go on sheer and hardly even pigmented and like the Storm, all of these are loosely pressed. Be careful! Unless you have a densely packed brush that can allow the pigment to adhere better, I don't recommend these. On the lighter note though, they can be held together and intensified wet as I've heard from other users. The packaging doesn't impress me at all, in fact- gold and plastic never seemed like an ideal combination to me unless it was a Wells Fargo debit card. If you're really cautious though, these could be an ideal bargain for a medium level pigmented buy, not the best but not the worst either. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful
