  fewer colds, bugs, flu's

  I love and live by this product. It is reasonable in cost. And it sure lives up to its claims. I use listerine daily. I have aquired MS and noticed after becoming a germaphobe that since using it religiously, I get fewer colds, illnesses and certain it is not my imagination. I actually use it after a kiss from someone as a ...Hi or by, etc. but when feeling a little bit phobic and it really is one product that does what it says. It calms my phobia as well.   ...you know it's working.

  I am a big fan of Listerine Mouthwash and Listerine Pre-brush Whitening rinse. While I use the whitening rinse almost every day (it is peroxide based and you can feel it foaming away the film of plaque on your teeth and gums) to give my brushing an added boost, I reserve the mouthwash for cold and flu season to use as a gar...gle for relief of sore throat symptoms.   Makes a clean feeling

  I like listerine, just not the cool mint one it really burns my mouth and makes my eyes water. Though I do like the orange and Tooth Defense (purple) ones allot better they do burn but more tolerable for me. Also do like the clean feeling afterwards and the breath smells good too. DO recommend the Orange and tooth defense ...ones more than the cool mint. April 21, 2008, 1:05 am

  I use it every day

  Maybe I am a victim of advertising, but this stuff is the only mouth wash that seems to really fight germs. It can be a bit harsh to keep swishing it around your mouth for the recommended time, but it sure leaves a fresh clean feeling mouth. May 4, 2008, 1:46 pm

  Very good mouthwash if you aren't afraid of the burn. And yes, it DOES burn. The cool mint effect only lasts for a little while, so it doesn't have any sustained effects (nothing replaces a good thorough brushing and flossing!). One more thing about this product...NEVER use it more than 2, maybe 3 times a day tops. I have f...ond memories of mouthwash induced halitosis (bad breath), back when I was a teenager and pierced my tongue and used this as part of my aftercare. When you use too much alcohol too often in your mouth, it somehow causes the opposite effect by dehydrating your mouth and causing funky effects. When there's less saliva in your mouth, bacteria apparently grow faster. So be careful not to overuse it! October 30, 2009, 3:57 am

  I patiently gurgle and swish with Listerine Cool Mint every morning and it's never done me wrong. My mouth feels cool, minty and fresh after every use. I've also noticed much fresher breath all throughout the day. One more positive, it's not at all expensive. Absolutely worth your money and time. May 13, 2009, 8:40 am

  it burns but well worth it

  all my life i would keep getting cavities no matter how often i brushed. my dentists would also constantly nag me about my gums being puffy, and finally i was diagnosed with gingivitus (i was only 17!) well i started using Listerine Tooth Defense rinse (the purple one) and when i went back for my deep cleaning (to treat the... gingivitus) the technitian said that there was no trace of gingivitus and he couldn't understand why i'd been scheduled for a deep cleaning. im 21 now and have never had a cavity since then.   Refreshing and powerful!

  I really like this mouthwash by Listerine. After just one use, my mouth felt cleaner and I felt completely refreshed. Its really powerful and kind of stings a bit, but it works wonders. The price is not all that bad considering what this mouthwash does for you, and the big bottle lasts quite sometime even using it twice a d...ay.
