    dude its a DOLLAR

    by corizotti (511 reviews)

anything for a dollar is a 10. Other than wtf value though, these lashes hold up as well as their 6-10$ cousins. Look nice, oh, i got a stockpile of them too, and they're not all the same from set to set, like all the 'dramatic' sets dont look alike. So i cut a bunch down into half sets, and that looks great and, dude, its ...a DOLLAR! they came with free glue too, a substantial amount, but i havent tried it, i buy stock in ardells' lash tite. :) BTW, the full sets from e.l.f. are valu-rama for a doller and everyone should get them to learn on, but stay away from their singles, they were uber-cheaply constructed and tended to shed and seperate. i'm laughing at the first reviewer of this product ... cuz i agree with her somewhat about the dollar always being a value, but i can't help getting disappointed when a product doesn't do what it's supposed to, even if it's a dollar. this doesn't disappoint. these falsies are the easiest to apply, if you use your own glue ...for the natural kit, you only have to cut the corners a bit, but the length is perfect. i also like the dramatic kit. whoever designed these lashes knew what they were doing. now if only more of their products could be as high quality as their falsies. Looking good

If you are thinking of buying falsies, this is the way to go. The price is right. Tehy look great. Why pay more. They work just the same. I have tried many other brands and they are all pretty much the same. You do need your little scissors to trim to fit to customize the size or fit you like. I always get complement...s whrn I wear falsies. there is a learning curve when you first start trying to apply them. takes a while to learn exactly how to aply them well. Once you learn you can actually apply and leave then on for days if you treat then right. May 7, 2008, 7:16 am

    Love the faux lashes

I love the lashes, however, the base where the lashes were attach together was in black and white. And the glue didn't hold for long, not to mention it was white also. But by far, these are the best lashes that I've ever worn on my eyes. September 6, 2008, 12:06 am

    Pleasantly Surprised

For a dollar you can't go wrong with these babies! I was surprised at how good they were, considering the price. I won a gift card ELF so thought I'd buy and try the lashes since I was dying to try fake lashes and I was NOT going to spend 12 bucks + for name brand lashes to test so I got all three in black and they are very... natural looking, even the 'dramatic' lashes. I wore them out and people thought they were my real lashes. I've used one a few times and they were just fine. However the glue isn't good at all. The glue is really runny and thin. They hold up but not for long. Probably a couple hours. Use a different glue with these lashes but other than that, perfect value. I'll stock up. November 8, 2009, 10:15 pm

Great way to try false lashes

    by maddie6887 (7 reviews)
Every girls wants to "glam it up" every once in a while and false lashes are a perfect way to go from "day" to "Va-va-va-voom" quickly. For a dollar, these are a great way to try out false lashes. They are comparable to their $5+ counterparts in durability and staying power and I LOVE that the ...glue is packaged with the lashes. The glue holds the lashes well and come out easily at the end of the night without any tugging or pulling. A GREAT BUY! May 11, 2009, 9:22 am

I don't recommend using the glue that comes with the lashes, besides that, they look great and real. I've only used the individual ones! For a dollar I definitly get my money's worth!!! June 19, 2008, 4:59 pm

modify before you glue them on.

    by JoyLeaf41 (1 review)
Like the others I dumped the glue after one try. I also used my permanent marker to color the base strip and let that dry before I removed them from the form. I then trim them to fit my eyes. I don't wear them often but when I do I get complimented on my eyes. June 17, 2009, 5:05 pm
