A makeup artists best tool
This "ULTRA FOUNDATION" is ultra fantastic! As a professional makeup artist working in all media, myself and many other artist agree that this foundation is hard to beat for a full and flawless coverage on most any skin. If you are extremely oily you will need to properly prep your skin first with a matting product in your super oily areas. Most will not need this step, but from reading the only low review on this product, this would be my advice. The mixing options and color range of this line tops the charts, as many reviews will tell you by professional makeup artist and photographers on respected sited like model mayhem. It is most often compered to Armani Luminous Silk foundation, except with greater coverage, leaving behind a line and pore correcting finnish that wont even need powder to stay put. I LOVE love this foundation!
Yes, it's expensive, but well worth it! It is very concentrated - so you only need about a nickel size of foundation for full coverage. As for the texture, the foundation is a thin and a bit runny , but nothing to be concerned about. I recommend a stippling brush for foundation application. Overall, FACE atelier Ultra Foundation is excellent for covering up scars, but if you have raised blemishes, you need to follow up with a concealer. After foundation application, my face looks dewy, radiant and flawless! I was hesitant to try out this foundation, because of the silicone and I do have sensitive skin. Great foundation!

Best of the BEST
I've never used a foundation that makes me look better than FACE atelier's Ultra Foundation. It has silicone it - it feels like I'm wearing nothing, I look like my skin is flawless, and it lasts all day. I've sensitive skin and it works like a dream. It's phenomenal value - as you only need a little bit to cover your whole face. Makeup artists rave about it and I know why! It comes with a pump which I love - easy to control and sanity. A Real Letdown
I had such high hopes for this foundation. I have used primers with silicone and really liked them, but this foundation felt heavy and sticky. It was really hard to apply smoothly. It did not seem to cover all that well either, despite layering it some in areas where needed Wrinkles seemed accentuated rather than hidden. The foundation actually looked better a couple of hours after application which is unusual for my oily skin, but overall I was disappointed. On the plus side, you can buy the foundation in a "Plus" and "Minus" colors which let you darken and lighten the foundation color you chose. Amazing!
I have all the whole collection in their pro size bottles. I LOVE these foundations because it is silicone based. It makes the skin look amazing and sits on the skin without settling into fine lines or pores. It provides medium to full coverage but can be sheered out. I compare this to Giorgio Armani's Sheer Fluid foundations but a full coverage version. It's great for most skin types and doesn't feel heavy on. If you're not sure what colour you are you can buy sample sizes for less than $1! I purchased the whole line of samples before buying and was hooked. They also have a 40 % off discount program for makeup artists and you don't have to pay!
