Good but prefer other John Frieda
I like this but I prefer the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Lustrous Touch. It smells better and really makes my hair smooth. This took out some of the frizz but not as much as the Brilliant Brunette. It's better than other products on the market for frizzy hair though so you need to try it and see what works for you. If this shampoo doesn't do it for you, try the Lustrous Touch also by John Frieda. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Blah
Even with the curl enhancing conditioner this barely did anything for my hair which already has curl & wave to it. I've used better products for curly hair & some that didn't advertise to do anything special for curls. This did have good cleaning power that doesn't strip moisture, but it didn't do much for my frizz. I'm not factoring that detail much into my rating though since the only thing that seems to control frizz on me is using a sulfate free formula shampoo. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

rad stuff :)
This shampoo does a good job of getting my hair clean, and it smells good too. I love this paired with the matching conditioner, because they really do bring out the texture in my otherwise pretty straight hair. I like to use it when I have really short hairstyles because I get a pretty cool result :) I find it a little expensive for the amount you get, but otherwise a good product. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

smells amazing and leaves hair soft
I have to admit it's good for its price, but it didn't completely eliminate the frizz. It lowered the amount of frizz, yeah, but i still have some strange fly-aways. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and then the moose, and it left my hair extremely soft and smelling great! It's better than the shampoo my mom buys and I'm normally stuck using -- I will say that! :] but I've seen better. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Meh...
I've seen better curl products out there. I was all psyched to try the John Frieda Frizz-Ease line since it seemed like the guy really knew what he was talking about in the advertisements. And who could resist those shiny curls those happy women had? I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and gel. The daily shampoo was alright. It did provide a fairly gentle cleanse for my fine hair, and that I'm happy about. But I do not think it works well with the conditioner as a pair. My curl formation was barely so-so... I could get much better results from my old products. Ended up pitching it when it was halfway through. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for Frizz
I have been using the Frizzz-Ease products for several years and find them all to be quite good especially if you have curly frizzy hair. It helps to bring out curls and make yourhair soft and shiny while eliminating the frizz. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works Good
This shampoo really helps my curls hold their shape, and reduces frizz. It works best when I use the shampoo, conditioner, and frizz ease together. Works better than most products I've tried, but there is still some frizz by the middle of the day (especially when it's really humid outside). I think it's worth the price. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Helps cut down on the frizz
The Curl Around Shampoo and Conditioner were rich formulas with a similar scent to Straight Ahead. The shampoo seemed similar, but the conditioner seemed a bit lighter (it is a delicate balance to get a conditioner that is moisturizing enough for curly hair, but not so heavy that it weighs down the curl). Air drying produced similar results to the Straight Ahead - less frizz, but still frizzy. On the day I styled it wavy (I blow dry until almost dry, then twist into princess-Leia style buns and let it down when completely dry) I had frizz-free waves that stayed that way longer throughout the day. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
