I don't get it when I read reviews like the ones below? It says that it's made for intolerant skin,so of course that it will not be perfect for you with oily or combination skin! When I had severe problems with my skin I used this cleanser and it saved me. I don't wear makeup when I have skin that behaves like it has a mind of its own. This is really good when your skin is so sore that you can't even use a face wash because it's waay to drying. Otherwise don't use a product that is not meant for your skin and you won't be dissapointed. — 10 months, 2 weeks ago

So so cleanser

I find it doesn't clean well enough. Sure it doesn't strip skin of moisture, but it gave me breakouts after long term use. The texture felt nice on the skin though, and did not irritate my eczema prone skin — 4 years ago

Not for those who wear makeup

I have always been a fan of Avene's products but this no-rinse cleanser was a HUGE disappointment. It contains "plant derived soap-free cleansing agent to remove make-up from face and eyes" and feels just like Cetaphil's Cleanser. Like Avene's other products, the high concentration of thermal spring water does make it soothing and very gentle on the skin but if you wear the slightest bit of makeup, this will NOT do the job. — 4 years, 2 months ago
