LOVE these!
I've spent SO much money on eyeshadows, and I could never find the right pink, purple and orange. It took me ages to realize that these were the perfect shades I had long been searching for, at a crazy great price. These are very velvety, and they last if you use primer. wearable colors
The NYC eyeshadows are great for everyday wear since the colors are very wearable. It blends beautifully, and lasted all day with a primer under it. The pigmentation is higher than I expected. Payoff was just fine using eyeshadow brush. The sponge applicator is of poor quality, so I don't recomment using it. It doesn't flake since it's not powdery or chalky. Pretty colors but..
I was looking for some brightly colored eyeshadow and thought I found that in the NYC duo with light blue/medium blue colors. The colors were really pretty but they went on very sheer, and weren't blendable at all. Not a good product.
I hate how it crumbles when you put it on and it's all over your cheeks. It doesn't go on smoothly, I feel like im dragging the applicator across my eye lids. If you're in a pinch and you need a cheap eye shadow quick, this is it. No thanks.
As I moved the applicator across the color pallette, chunks of shadow broke off and shadow went everywhere. I tried it on the back of my hand, did not stick or stay put. On my eyelid was even worse. How did this product get good reviews? You must have to be using a ridic amount of primer to even get a thin layer to stick. I returned this. Great Deal for the Money
The colors are great and it lasts all day. I have one of the quad packs and I am able to go from work to dinner with just a little touch up and you can't beat the price. It is a little hard to find in my area, not everyone carries it anymore. Great buy for the price!!
You get the look of the high priced eyeshadows for a mere $2.99. An absolute bargain. I don't think NYC makeup gets half the credit they deserve. The color goes on smooth and stays on for the most part of the day.
