New Formulation
They just reformulated these lipglosses (as of 12/11). They are certainly an improvement over the old gloss. I found that the gloss was less goopy, did not turn in the tube as quickly, and had better pigmentation. The new applicator tip is very thin, long, and flexible, but I actually found it more difficult to use on the lips. The product is still a bit sticky and doesn't last particularly long. Greatly improved
I used to have this product when I was in high school, so about 8 years ago. I wasn't particularly a fan but I didn't have that much money to buy expensive products back in the day so this had to do. Recently, NYC changed the formula of this product and the quality was greatly improved. No longer a 1/10 or 2/10, but I bumped it to 6/10 and here is why: the formula is not as thick. The formula is not sticky anymore or that waxy feeling that it used to have. It lasts longer, though reapplying is still necessary every couple of hours. It is shiny, and it looks so nice. I have this in Nude New York color, and I am quite satisfied with it. I would say give it a try, I mean for $2.49 it's not going to break the bank and if you don't like it you can give throw it out without having to break the bank. So overall the formula has greatly improved, the pigmentation is better, not sticky, not overwhelming. I wouldn't pay a penny for this

New Formula Is Great For the $
This a great lip gloss, especially for the price. The formula is fantastic- shiny but not sticky and wears very long for a lip gloss not marked as long wearing. It also doesn't travel outside the lip lines as much as other glosses I've used. The scent is kinda of "vanilla sweet" but not overly cloying and there isn't any taste. The shade of Rivington Rose is so pretty and is my favorite in the line. It has some shimmer but no glitter and doesn't come off like a cheap, 80's frosty gloss. On me (and I have very pale skin with a lot of color in my lips) its like a MLBB shade. When I wear this, I seem to get a lot of "did you change your hair or lose weight"" comments and genrally, the only thing different is that I wore this gloss! Good on a budget

Like Avon's Glazewear Lipgloss
This lipgloss was very shimmery with high pearl content, if you like that beaming look. However it's not shiny nor glossy, and the consistency is satiny. The fragrance is slightly sweet & sugary, which I don't care for. Good as a lip balm
I have this in three different colors. It's cheap, it does deposit color, it's not sticky, and it doesn't taste or smell horrible. It also doesn't stay on long and the colors are not all that flattering for grown-ups. I actually use it over a lip conditioner that I use at night. I helps lock in moisture and I wake up with super soft lips. It also works well alone as a pretty decent lip balm. I'm kind of a huge fan!
I bought this lip gloss in 3 colors, all of which were complimentary to any lip liner or lipstick I wore underneath them. The best part aside from the cost of about $1.99 is the fact that this gloss doesn’t feel heavy, sticky or gooey on your lips. My lips actually feel better after wearing this gloss. Good Gloss
Ok, I am actually really surprised that this product is viewed as such a terrible product. I am going to be completely honest. I do like this gloss!!! I find the packaging to be very cute and easy to use, and I think the product inside is very reasonably priced, quite cheap for a pretty good product. This lip gloss does go into my everyday makeup bag!!! I was able to find this gloss through a friend who told me to try out the NYC mascara, yes mascara some how led me to gloss. Anyhow, since I liked the mascara so much I decided to be adventurous and try out different products from this line, I tried a lipstick, foundation, bronzer (which is amazing), an this gloss. I found them all to be good products, and the prices were just unbeatable. The color pay off from this gloss is not overpowering, it is actually quite sheer, and the product is quite thick which allows it to stay a while on my lips. I did not find this gloss extremely sticky, well i expected it to be a little sticky, and it looked very glossy on my lips. I think for a cheap lip gloss this is a definite go to type of product, this is great for people who are just starting with their make up collection, such as high schoolers, college students, etc. The color range isn't huge, there are a few shades but they all kind of work the same, they look kind of sheer on my lips, or maybe I am just applying a small amount. It does not do bad things to my lips, like my lips feel soft and not dried out. I actually like the packaging because it is thin and long, but I don't like how the applicator does not pick up too much product so you actually have to dip into your tube a few times before you can coat all of your lips, and i have pretty small lips.
