This pimple lotion is great. But it's not perfect. It's nice in the sense that it does work but it chooses when it wants to work. For example, say I have five zits on my face (gross I know) and I dab this lotion on them. Three of them will reduce in size and kinda scab up and go away, and one, nothing happens, and the last, a whitehead surfaces. So all in all, I think it works nice. — 6 months, 3 weeks ago

I used this years ago when I had acne and yes it dries up blemishes but the smell is overwhelming. It doesn't have the best ingredients either. My acne didn't improve b/c of it but it dried my skin up. I would rather try something natural if I have issues. — 1 year, 4 months ago

I have tried so many acne products that I cringe when I think how much money and time I have spent. I first tried their drying lotion, which is also amazing, and then I got the buffering lotion which is fantastic as well. Even though I only have occasional breakouts, I tend to get cystic and regular pimples when they occur. I finally purchased this during my last breakout, and I am overjoyed with how well it works. Yes it stinks, yes you end up with pink spots on your face at bedtime, but it's a great trade off for waking up with your pimples GONE. I use this in tandem with the drying and buffering lotions, and my breakouts are gone within two days tops. Where were these products when I was in high school?? — 2 years, 2 months ago

I'm in the process of testing several of Mario's products out for a review, but I had to jump on here and sing the praises of the Drying Lotion. This has single handedly eliminated blackheads and a few whiteheads that have popped up over the past week. I saw results in one night! For the larger ones, it took 2 nights. I don't mind going to bed looking like I have the chicken pox if it really works! It is a tad drying to the skin, make sure you hydrate! — 3 years, 4 months ago

I do not get the passion over this stuff. I guess it either works great or not much if at all. It did not dry up my pimples-especially dissapointing when it promises to do so overnight. I was SO excited about it when I bought it but let down by the performance. Plus very messy. Will not try it again — 3 years ago

I am over 50 and have broken out with acne & cystic acne. Very upsetting! This products works miracles - put it on at night and in the morning, blemishes are on their way out. This product dries up the pimple pretty much over night it wil be 50% gone. It does not resolve the problem it is just a quick drying product. You have to be careful & not shake the solution if you do u just wait until the pink settles back to the bottom. Its a quick easy fix. — 2 months, 3 weeks ago

I have acne that never seems to go away. I know this is a "after the fact" product (it won't prevent pimples from forming), but I gave it a shot. It definitely delivers on the drying part. Be careful about that and make sure to moisturize. It does dry out the pimples sometimes, but others, it seems to make whiteheads appear when I take it off in the morning. It does work some. In fact I have it on now. It just isn't the miracle worker that people expect it to be. I think for acne prone people like me, it doesn't work as well as it does for other people. Overall, I would recommend this product. But I would also warn people that it isn't a miracle worker. *UPDATE*: I've started using my new Clarisonic Mia before using this stuff. Now it definitely works much better than before. I was shocked to see the size of some of my pimples go down overnight. — 4 months, 3 weeks ago
