This mascara claimed to create the look of three coats in one, but sadly it took multiple coats to create dramatic lashes. After two weeks, the ultra-black formula thickened, delivering more volume in one coat. And though the chubby brush made it easy to plump lashes at the base, it was nearly impossible to avoid smudging lids during application. The mascara flaked too (after six hours). Though that decreased as the formula dried out, I'd rather invest in a consistent Lancome mascara.

    Like many mascaras that promise thicker, fuller, longer lashes, this mascara belongs to the "didn't deliver as advertised" category. I really didn't find anything special about it. I thought that since the wand brush had a lot of bristles on it, it was going to be good. Sadly that wasn't the case. It didn't ma...ke lashes thicker, fuller or longer looking. It just coated it with black goop that weighed my eyelashes down and straightened out its natural curl. Also the product became thickened in the tube after only a month of purchasing it, making the product clumpy on my lashes upon application. It then flaked off, leaving bits of black specks on my cheeks. I tossed it in the trash after that. Bottom line: when it worked it was only OK but there was nothing about it worth gushing over. When it dries up in the container which happened rather quickly with mine, it's basically useless. November 7, 2008, 1:04 am

    All hype

    I was enticed- its from Victoria's Secret, it's in a pretty "chrome" tube, it's called "voluptuous"... and it just wasn't that great! Tt went on the base of my lashes good, but then while trying to get an adequate amount to transfer to the tips, I ended up with more on my lids than my lashes. It held so...mewhat of a curl but it was too much work and clean-up to be worth 18 bucks. May 21, 2008, 7:38 am

    i dont kno if its me, but the only thing i liked about this was the big fluffy brush! i thought the mascara was nice and dark, too, but it was too thick to seperate the lashes and didnt give much length, and as soon as it was good and dry, it started to flake and i think it took a couple of my lash tips with it. just not th...at good at all.     Too Clumpy

    This mascara give your eyelashes a nice dark effect, the bad to the masacara it makes your eyelashes clumpy. Once you start applying the mascara you eyelashes start to clump up together making your eyeslashes not stand out. It does give you volume its states though. March 6, 2008, 7:51 pm

    I actually REALLY liked this product, I got it during victorias secret annual sale, and I paid very little for it, fell in love with it and now my local victorias store no longer carries it. It made my lashes very full and long. I would definatly buy this product again!!! August 28, 2009, 6:54 pm

    I love to try new things pretty often, I am easily bored. I saw the really nice display VS has in the store and was intrigued by many of the products, this being one of them. This mascara is pretty reasonable, and I do like the teddy bear brush. It apllied easily, but I had to use three coats in order to achieve the look... I wanted. It weighed out the curl from my eye lash curler, and the longer I wore it, I found it did flake a bit and smudged. It was a pretty reasonably priced product, so I am not totally heart broken, but I won't be purchasing this product again. May 27, 2009, 4:30 am

    Not so Voluptuous...

    This mascara worked pretty good the first few times I used it but it started to clump up after about a week of use. And I did have to use at least 3 coats of it before it looked even some what voluptuous. May 1, 2009, 1:14 pm

    I mostly love VS beauty products. But this mascara did not live up to the hype. It's very hard to apply. It becomes clumpy very easily. And when it does not clump it does not add a major volume difference. I'll stick to my diorshow! April 24, 2009, 2:49 pm

    By far my favorite mascara. I love the brush and works realllly well to get full lashes and you can layer on lots of coats easily. The formula is a little weird and should be replaced every month or two. March 1, 2009, 4:57 pm

    lengthens but clumps

    I only normally use Great Lash or Fiberwig but I was given this mascara from one of my girlfriends so I figured I'd give it a shot. I love that it lengthens but I feel like my lashes looked messy and clumpy. I wouldn't reccomend or but this on my own October 13, 2008, 12:04 pm
