another happy customer
This is one of quite a few Mario Badescu products I have tried lately and I have yet to be disappointed. Makes my skin feel great, while some masks seem to just dry my skin out this does not and certainly helps with acne. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

smells and feels amazing
This product, the Flower & Tonic Mask from Mario Badescu, was just what I needed yesterday. I had requested a sample package from them a while ago, just got it yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised at the multitude of products I received samples of. I couldnt wait to use it! The last few days my skin had been feeling super congested, as well as dry and flaky. I was a little worried that doing a mask would suck too much moisture out of my face, but given the bumps and gunk I felt building up, I decided the risk was worth it. Besides, it’s Mario Badescu – this stuff is amazing! I decided to use all the products I got and have a sample-spa-at-home day! After using the enzyme cleanser, aloe lotion, and strawberry scrub, I slathered on the Flower and Tonic Mask. The first thing that struck me was how nice it smelled. The aroma is very clean and organic, with a nice green herbal undertone. Applying it to my face was super easy, it had just the right amount of slip to spread it easily and yet it did not feel slimy at all. It isn’t super thick, so I did have to add a bit extra here and there to really get a good coat on the areas I wanted deep cleansing action. It started to dry very quickly, which is another thing I liked. How many times have you put on a mask and 20 minutes later it still doesn’t feel like it’s dry??? I swear I could feel the clay pulling crap out of my face as it dried. After a good 12 minutes (I was impatient and could not wait the whole 20 minutes they recommend), I rinsed it off. Here’s my only complaint: for some reason, this seems to happen with all masks for me, it doesn’t fully pull the gunk out of my face. I feel like the mask actually gets deep into the pores and pulls stuff up to the surface, but then it doesn’t come out. So tonight I’m going to do a mild glycolic acid peel and some light exfoliation, hopefully that will get rid of the crud surface. But that aside, overall I really liked this! — 10 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
