Worth it.

Whenever my skin is being rebellious, I put it into it's place with this mask. It draws out all of the yucky things and leaves it feeling clean and pure. It always works amazingly as a spot treatment. Just dab a little of the MB Buffering Lotion on your blemish, then top w/ this mask and in the morning it will be dried into oblivion.

This is not for combination/oily skin!!

If your skin is a combo/oily type this is not for you. I only say this because after using it as an all over mask your skin will overcompensate and be very oily for the next couple of days. Other skin types will find this helpful for just little dabs and clearing off excess oils. Works great and if you end up not using it all before it dries up (which has happened to me) I just added some purified water and it was back to normal consistency.

Great product

I love Mario Badescu products and have bought the acne kit which included the Drying Mask. I agree with other reviews that this does smell but you only leave it on for 20 minutes. Used in combination with other products, especially the Healing and Soothing Mask, I have noticed a definite decrease in my acne. With all other products my skin would break out when trying new products but this one started clearing my adult acne the first night.

is it weird that I like the smell?

This is my favorite MB product that I've tried. It's the best thing to dab on a zit before going to sleep if you want to see a noticeable change in the morning. If you use it as an allover face mask it spreads really well so you only need a little. Go on their website and fill out a questionnaire! They'll send you free samples! (They don't make that clear but trust me, fill it out and wait about a week!)

the smell is icky but the results are fantastic :D

i love the fact that mario badescu uses all botanical ingredients in their skin care line and that the drying mask works instantly for my skin. what i don't like is the smell. you can tell that it's all natural because it smells so earthy. but if you can get past the smell then this product is for you. not to mention that it firms your skin without drying out your skin. it only dries out the bad acne on your face. lastly, a little bit goes a loooong way :D

good and bad, mostly good

not the nicest smelling mask, but it gets the job done- it got rid of my pimple but it dried my skin and the next day i was a little more oily than usual

Perfect for a night at home, Alone

This mask is fabulous. I notice an immediate reduction in blackheads and existing zits seem to shrink. However, make sure you are alone or your significant other really loves you, this mask smells! But it is definitely worth it. At least you know there isn't superflurous perfumes that might aggrevate your skin! I use twice a week, but it could be use more often. One tub will last a LONG time, so the money is definitely well spent.

Miracle Mask!

I used this product because I had a major dilemma: a HUGE blemish decided to surface a few days before an interview and let me tell you, it was extremely noticeable. My brother went as far as to ask me if I knew I had a planet on the side of my chin! Anyway, I had run out of my usual mask and I remembered that I had a sample of this in my bathroom. I dabbed a little on my "planet" ri...read moreght before I went to sleep and the next day it was almost gone! It's size had drastically decreased and it was no longer red and painful. INCREDIBLE. I have converted to this product now and it's a lot cheaper than my usual which is a plus. It smells a little because of the sulfur, but in my opinion sulfur works best! I put this allover my face once a week, and then when pesky problems arise, I'll nip it in the bud by swiping a little over the blemish and presto! gone in no time.

Worth the smell!

If you can get used to the sulfur smell, which doesn't bother me, you'll love this. It works really well. I usually use it two days in a row and then skip a couple of days.

Smells terrible, works fantastic!
