The worst!!!

Received a sample packet of this and after 2 tries I gave up. I hated this so much I couldn't even continue to use the entire packet. I agree with all the other reviewers. It doesn't leave your face clean and somehow leaves a film on your face. No need in using water to rinse it off because it does little in removing that irritable "film." I had to use my other cleansers after this and what's the ...read morepoint of this when I still have to remove this with something else?! The seaweed in here is useless. It doesn't exfoliate gently like what they claim. It just feels like an extra ingredient that really doesn't do much. I used toner after this face wash and I still had a lot of makeup left on my cotton pad so I doubt that this cleans dirt and oil off the face like how it claims when it doesn't even do a good job of removing my non-waterproof makeup. I also hated how badly this stings my eyes. It has a really strong soapy fragrance that is much too strong. So far, I've tried Mario Badescu's products three times now and I am not impressed at all so I will probably never buy any of his products anymore unless I receive a free sample.

Feels like a cheap product

I love seaweed products but this stripped my skin dry and squeaky when it was rinsed off.

Somewhat good cleanser but does leave film

This cleanser is somewhat good in that it doesn't strip skin but it does leave a "film" on your face. While this may be fine for drier skin, oily skin will not appreciate this. The seaweed component is soft and doesn't provide any type of exfoliation per se. It doesn't rinse off easily and can leave your face feeling not clean. Skin shouldn't be stripped to be clean but it also shouldn't feel like you need to wash it again.

Not one of their better products

While this soap does clean your skin, it tends to leave a bit of a film on it as well. This is a really odd soap. It's hard to combine it with water and even harder to rinse off. It's almost like it repels water. The scent wasn't horrible, but not something that I would want to smell every day. I never felt like my face was clean after using this, and even experienced a few more breakouts while I tried the sample bottle I received. Might work better as a body wash??

weird texture and color

the first time i saw this in ULTA i thought they were expired! LOL But then I realized that's just the way it is. Very very artificial colored. :( But since they were places on the combination/dry shelf, I got one anyway. Like the other reviewers said, it's not easy to wash off. and i never felt clean after using it. So every time i use a lot of seaweed lotion on a cotton pad, wipe my skin all ove...read morer again make sure it's cleaned LOL and it's always very clean so i started to believe that it does clean :S I will continue using this one because it sofar is the most gentle cleanser i have and it does not make my skin worse. I probably will not buy this one again though. I need to find some other cleanser soon.

Not my favorite of this line

I wanted to like this product, thought it would be good for my rosacea. But, it always felt like I had a film on my face afterward, and my skin turned into an oil slick. I love Mario's products, but this one was not a fav. Also, the smell...not so great.

Very gentle cleanser

I enjoyed this cleanser. The bits of seaweed were a bit of a surprise, but I didn't mind them. It cleansed effectively and didn't dry out my skin at all.

great mild cleansing soap for combination skin

I started using this natural product when I was pregnant. It is mildly exfoliating and has little chunks of seaweed in it. The smell is great and it leaves your skin soft and clean. I also love the no frills packaging that all of Mario Badescu skin care comes in. I would recomend this soap to people who want a natural product that delivers results
