  I prefer Bare Minerals

  I used Mary Kay's mineral foundation for the first time this morning and I'm disappointed. I think it's probably wonderful for people who have never used mineral foundation before. But I've used Bare Minerals for several years now and Mary Kay does not even compare. Mary Kay's texture is much drier. It does not provide anyw...here near the amount of coverage I get with Bare Minerals. Also, I ordered the lightest shade and it still looks darker than I would prefer. Again, if I had never used minerals before I probably wouldn't even know the difference. I'll keep this Mary Kay makeup to use occasionally so I don't run out of Bare Minerals as quickly.   Great Powder!!

  I love the feel of this powder! It's beneficial to my skin, I can see a difference after a week of using it. To get more coverage, you just simply have to add more. I love that kind of control and versatility! I can wear it as a light coverage-full coverage. If I continue to add more, a little at a time of course, I ca...n cover my abundant freckles, or I can choose to let them shine through. Also, it's just one powder to deal with, as compared to multiple steps of other brands of mineral powders. Which makes it great for the time-pressed, I am a mother of four, so I love anything that saves me time! May 3, 2008, 10:23 am

  Love it

  I love the mineral foundation, it is buildable and I have never felt like I was wearing tons of it, though I can see the difference in the coverage. I do still use a concealer on problem areas, as I did with my old foundation, but I don;t need to cover as many areas... It is also lasting absolutely forever, I've had it for ...months and it seems I've barely made a dent... great deal for the $18! May 28, 2008, 3:20 pm

  Just tried

  This past weekend I went to a womens bazar and tried the Mary Kays new mineral foundation, it was awsome!!! It was so light and did not cake like other mineral foundations I have tried(off T.V.) Give this product a try if you get a chance!!! May 20, 2008, 10:55 am

  Love it!

  This is one of my favorite new products!! I love how light it goes on and it is buildable so you can get more coverage, or just add more if you are going out after work. You do need to use a concealer undeneath if you have problem spots, but that's with any foundation you use. I would highly recommend this, it leaves your s...kin looking and feeling soft and smooth!   Good, but doesn't conceal well

  I love the application process and the smoothness of my skin with the mineral powder, but I'm not thrilled with the concealing properties of it. When I'm having a good skin day, it does well giving me a mostly-even, natural look. But if I have blemishes, it doesn't hid them well. I still find myself using it more often than... the liquid foundation. May 27, 2008, 5:32 am

  I love this product

  I have fair skin that just gets whiter and whiter thru out winter. I have a hard time finding a foundation that matches my skin tone until I found Mary Kay Mineral Foundation. It is easy to apply, it blends in with my skin, it stays all day, and it looks natural. May 20, 2008, 7:56 am

  Good Coverage.....

  I realy like this product, the coverage is adaptable to my needs. If I need a lot of coverage I just add more, and if I want to go natural it's light enough to feel like you have nothing on without losing the matte finish. May 16, 2008, 9:02 am

  I Love it!

  I have very oily skin and this foundation not only covers, but help control the shine all day too!!! I used to feel like all of my makeup just slid off my skin throughout the day, but now I actually still have makeup on after a grueling 10 hour workday! May 15, 2008, 4:40 pm

  better than the full coverage liquid foundation

  While this doesn't quite give me the full coverage I want--I may just be too used to too much coverage--I like the light, airy feel of it and the finish it gives. I'm so tired of the cakey feel of the liquid foundations, that I'm going to switch to this. April 30, 2008, 5:55 am
