Good for short lashes, not for long lashes.

I have naturally long eyelashes, which doesn't seem to be the type that this mascara is made for. Friends of mine with shorter lashes have used it and been left with amazing results. I was left with only clumps. It also uncurled my lashes.

lots of lashes but takes lots of skill at first

I tried it-great price, great formula, bush was challenging though. I didn't have the patience to finish with the actual wand so I whipped out my trusty Tweezerman lash comb (the bomb by the way) and voila--extension perfect not clumpy lashes.

Need to be applied correctly

I was very upset when bought this mascara, lashes looked terrible, I had all problems described here. I was surprised that some reviews were very positive, so I decided that I probably apply it wrong way, I read a lot of reviews and advises, browsed loreal sites in several countries... and... I found the way to apply it! And it looks great now. (I will try to explain it in English, sorry if there ...read morewill be mistakes, I am not a native speaker) The problem is that majority of us used to apply mascara absolutelly differently, you really need to do it with only one move, you need to start from the very base and pull your lashes through the brush, do it with even some forse, quite slowly, one long move, lashes deeply immersed into the brush during the move. Do not stop in the middle of lashes, do it till the very tips and rotate in the end to take/remove extra mascara from lashes. Do not make many small movements, if you do not like the result, do not try to fix it making more layers/moves, better remove mascara and try again. When I understood the idea I learned very quickly and I really like it now. But it is true - at first I was shocked! It was terrible before I learned.

puts TOO much at the base of your lashes!!

i agree w/the last review. and i LOVE l'oreal mascaras, they are my fav, but this one, goops it at the base of your lashes and the brush bends all over the place, it's hard to re-insert it into the container! i stopped using it. is a mess!

telescopes are straight

i love this mascara for its drama. it does take a second swipe to define lashes, but it lengthens and thickens my short slender lashes so much, it's totally worth it. they're already straight, so after the mascara dries i curl with a heated curler for verticality.

Mascara

I have to agree with other reviewers, this mascara always comes out in huge globs on the brush. It is almost impossible to get it right and if you do, it does lenghthen lashes, but it also make them so straight.

so so

i thought this was gonna be really good, but i was disappointed. first i do not like the brush at all. it didn't clump all over for me, it was just at the tip where a bit of excess mascara. i don't believe it's waterproof and waterproof is a must for me. i find it that i don't like the new mascara wands as much as the bristle brush. i'm stickin' to my usual mascara.

Gave me Beautiful Lashes...

When used correctly. The comb takes some getting used to. It makes your lashes look soooo long. People asked me if I was wearing fake eyelashes. I would recommend to practice using the brush once you get it.

My Everyday Mascara

I really love how I can get my lashes super long...falsies look from using this! Once I got used to the consistancy of the product & the brush, I was able to get a look I never could before with mascara alone. Here's a tip that might help some of you that have clumping issues...first, coat the tips of your lashes so you don't have too much product on the brush when you do the base. Then go to the base and roll the brush as you drag it upward so the product disperses more evenly.
