I love this shampoo! It lathers gorgeously and richly (which REALLY surprised me). I do not even have to use a conditioner after using this product. I have used this bar, alternated with another one (Squeeky Green) and they have lasted 3 months so far. I am sure I have another month or so's use out of it. I shampoo every other day, btw. Definitely worth the $9.95 a bar. No packaging = better too! Did not notice a smell with this bar either. — 1 year, 4 months ago

Great smell that keeps on going

This shampoo has the best smell ever! Everybody who I ask disagrees on the smell but I would say its kind of herbally, kind of citrusy, and kind of flowery....but you may completely disagree. Either way, to most people, its a pleasing scent (as with most Lush products). Though I am a Lush newbie, I can see what the hype is about....the great smells, the organic products, the super nice sales ladies, and the instoor demonstrations: everything about this brand is great! So I was excited to try out my first product-the Ultimate Shine solid shampoo. After talking with the saleslady, I seleted this one because of its scent and promise of shine. I bought it with a tin because I was away on a vacation and needed to travel with it, so my total purchase was about $15-a little pricey for just one shampoo (but I'm assuming I can re-use the tin for other shampoos). Anyway, after 2 uses I can confirm that the scent stays strong after the wash-when I showered in the morning my hair smelled great, and when I went to bed at night it still smelled just as good. But, it didnt give me the shine that I wanted....which may be because of the bad hotel water/shower...Anyways, this product is great if you want something that smells good, but may not offer you the shine that you are looking for. — 1 year, 7 months ago

Love this!

I got this bar for free with a promotion, and would have never chosen a solid shampoo before. Now, I'm addicted! It doesn't have a great smell like other Lush products/liquid shampoos -- it smells kind of herbally. However, the smell does not linger in my hair, nor is it very strong. I use this 3-4 times a week, it is my fav out of all their solid shampoos. It doesn't add much shine to my hair (or at least I don't notice) but it makes it softer. The bar is sooo easy to use, you just rub it in your hands and you get a ton of lather. It feels really light. The only gripe is that once I left it on the ledge and it was under a shower's worth of running water and I lost like 1/2 of it. I'll need to go back to Lush and buy the tin! I definitely recommend this. :) — 2 years ago
