I have struggled with the most unappealing underarm sweat and smell, particularly when I'm nervous from a presentation at work or other situation, and Secret Clinical Strength is among the top solutions for this. Like all of the "clinical strength" products, it is drying, but I've found after using it for several days, I can skip a day and use my regular antiperspirant/deoderant in the morning. I have used countless prescription and OTC deodorant's and none have worked as well as Serets Clinical Strength. This product works so well, even in times where normally I would have been drenched, such as super hot days and before work/school presentations. I NEVER sweat anymore, I never get an embarassing odor. The price is a little on the high side but well worth it. I know this product isn't for everyone because 2 of my friends have tried it and it didn't work for them, but anyone with a sweating problem should definatly give it a try--it just might work for you!! I found that it works best when you shower at night and apply it then (no need to apply more in the morning). Sometimes this is a little inconvienant for people who like to shower in the morning but it still works just as well then. No more white shirts ruined for me!!! May 26, 2008, 1:05 am

If you sweat more than you should. This is the product for you! I've struggled with underarm wetness and odor my whole life. I'm an athlete, a tiny woman who sweats like a cow. It could be 40 degrees and I'm sweaty. I gave up on white shirts, the whole nine yards. I was weary since I've tried prescriptions, roll on, spray on, gel, clear, all of them. I put this on at night. Wake up fresh, no sweat! I've been using it for 2 weeks now and proud to say I wear white again, and can't wait for the summer heat. BRING IT ON! Smell is great, price listed here is high. I sweat, I don't think excessively, just a normal amount so I assumed that this would be an end to my occassional deodorant let downs. First off you are supposed to apply it at night onto clean skin. So any morning showers be wary. Second it did not keep me smelling fresh all day like I thought it would. The one great thing about it was that I didn't have any of the typical white marks or residue that usually happens with all deodorants that I have tried, even the ones that say that they don't leave white marks. I'm going to be really honest: I sweat like a pig. I have hyper-hydrosis, and it makes me feel disgusting. This is the only non-prescription strength product I can use, and it works! I definitely recommend applying it at night, as the packaging suggests. I like to use regular Secret anti-perspirant/deodorant during the day for added protection, but using this product at night definitely decreases how much I sweat during the day. If you don't sweat as much as I do, you could probably get away with just using this at night and nothing during the day. March 17, 2008, 11:41 am

I have been using this product for about 6 months. During the summer I love to wear tank tops but I hated that no matter which antiperspirant I used I still was left less them smelly by mid morning/early afternoon. Not so with this product.
I am however disappointed that there are still sweat stains on some of my white tanks. But, I am not disappointed enough to stop using it. I also try really hard to locate coupons or sales for this product because it is a little pricey.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to give this a go for my wedding day. I can't tell you how afraid i was that whatever product I used would be inadequate and someone would want to hug me and be met with icky smell. I followed the directions and applied it after my bath the night before my wedding and I'm happy to tell you that it was working even on the day AFTER my wedding. Believe me girls, this stuff WORKS! The scent is really obnoxious, but at least it's long-lasting. I've never understood why deodorant manufacturers think women want something to compete with their very expensive perfume! As for its effectiveness, it was only slightly better than Secret Platinum. Neither can hold a candle to Certain Dri or Klima antiperspirants, but they're not listed on this website. My whole life Ive always been trying to find a good deodorant that doesn't leave white marks; or loses its great scent after a half hour. Trust me; I am always on the run and it seems like i sweat up a storm, especially during sports and I hate having it been shown. This product is AMAZING, it smells great, leaves no marks and definently lives up to its claims in commercials. I dont need to apply it 10 times a day like other brands of deodorant, its absolutely GREAT. You may think its a bit pricey for the size but I can always find coupons in my local paper for it and it lasts a long time for me! I love it and I will never change brands ever again. I am currently using this product, and although I love that it keeps me smelling great and keeps my underarm skin conditioned and soft, I find that during the day I am still sweating some. I apply this product at night as instructed, but during the day I still feel dampness in my underarms.
I have had an issue with excessive sweating (although, thankfully, without odor, it's just wetness) in my underarms for a little bit now, and have been trying so many products to fight it. This is the second best one I have found so far (the best one is VERY effective against the sweating, but causes my underarm skin to ITCH SO BAD and break out in little red bumps), and I have found it for much less than the price it is listed at on this site.
