LOVE IT!!!
I have fine/thin/oily long hair and it's hard finding a shampoo that keeps my hair moisturized without making it look extra oily. (oily roots dry ends) I finally talked myself into buying this and i'm so glad i did! i was aprehensive about buying a shampoo "bar" since i've never tried one before but it lathers great and smells heavenly! i walk by the bathroom just to get a whiff! lol :) my hair gets clean and is super soft and shiny afterwards (i follow with my usual conditioner) Try a luch shampoo bar (this one smells the best!) — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Decent shampoo bar
I have short, straight hair so I often use a 2-in-1 while opting for a shampoo and conditioner about once a week or so. I am a fan of some Lush products, but I'm a bit on the fence with Godiva. The scent is very flowery and very strong so if you are a girly-girl who doesn't opt for perfume, this is pretty good. I however prefer less floral scents and so found this too strong. Other minus is that because it smells so girly, my boyfriend won't use it. If I buy a bar of Hybrid (the other 2-in-1 Lush shampoo bar) he will share. I also felt this bar disappeared faster than Hybrid. It is fairly moisturizing but I do find the cocoa butter bits can leave a residue so I make sure to rinse well or use regular shampoo once a week. Love
I cut my hair short and now require much fewer products to achieve healthy hair, I also am saving time getting ready! this product definitely HELPS me save time! I swish it thru my hair once or twice, lather my hands, apply to my head, message in and then rinse. I don't require any conditioner as this leaves my hair 1) shiney, 2) bouncy 3) full of body and 4) smelling great! It's so simple. Quick fix!
I don't have any major hair issues to address but I will say that this shampoo bar is certainly one of those extras that I go for because it just smells so divine. I love using it in the morning since the fresh florals are a great pick me up before my coffee. Please do not get the suds in your eyes, though. Shiny Shiny Happy Hair
I just started using LUSH shampoo bars and this Godiva one makes my hair nice and shiny. I have frizzy and thick hair but this shampoo bar takes all the frizz away. It smells great. It is a bit pricey, but I've been using it for a while now and it has barely put a dent in the product. No shampoo and/or conditioner plastic bottles are wasted so it's environmentally friendly also. HOLY GRAIL!!!
Smells fantastic, and does wonders for my long, thick hair! My waves are soft, and my hair is shiny and manageable! As soon as you swipe it in your hair it erupts into a rich, mosturizing lather, and the lovely scent of jasmine fills the shower. I honestly can not go back to normal shampoo. Lasts a while too! Very good shampoo
This is my first Lush shampoo bar. I really like the concept behind it; it's less wasteful and very easy to travel with. The scent is really nice, like jasmine. It may seem a little strong when you smell the bar, but it just makes your hair smell really good. It's also super moisturizing. I bought this through the internet as a convenience for travel abroad mainly to lighten my suitcase and was pleasantly surprised that it outperformed all my other shampoo and conditioning products I left back home! I was so pleased that when I found a LUSH store in Milan, Italy I scooped up several more shampoo, conditioner and body bars to bring back home..... so much for lightening my load! NEW BELIEVER!!! EVEN GREAT FOR THICK COARSE HAIR
I never would have thought that I could use a shampoo bar since my hair is very thick, coarse and long as well as color-treated!!! But when I received a sample of this from LUSH (Samples are awesome and they do work, almost every sample I've received from them, I end up buying) so anyway, this stuff is GREAT. My hair smelled great, was clean and worked amazingly. My favorite of Lush's "Puck" Shampoo Bars
I've been a Lush customer on and off for nearly ten years and due to the huge increases in their prices that has occurred over time, I've cut back a lot on what items from this company I consider good buys. Godiva shampoo bar is one of the few that has made that cut. It smells awesome and has enough moisturizing properties to it that it can serve as a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner in a pinch. It's not enough for me to drop a separate conditioner entirely as I have long hair that's prone to tangles, so I do feel that I need to keep a separate conditioner on hand for when my hair's getting messy. But it's conditioning enough to where I feel safe keeping this in my travel bag and leaving my clunky bottle of conditioner at home! I can't say that it does wonderful things to my hair in terms of its health or shine as my hair is in good condition anyway, but I can say that it doesn't weigh down my superfine hair which is a plus as my hair is volume challenged. The best thing about this shampoo though is the benefits of its solid state. First, so long as you keep your shampoo out of damp areas between showers this little bar can last you a long time so that helps justify the price. (However, if you leave it where it'll be exposed to water it may melt away!) It's also a great shampoo/conditioner to carry in your gym bag or other travel bag as there's no worry about bottles leaking on you. It's also really easy to use once you get the hang of it. Just make sure to really saturate your hair with water and then rub it on your head until a lather starts to build. Then scrub!
