Curel Hand & Cuticle Therapy Cream
Editor's Rating & Review
My sister and I are hooked on this obsession-worthy, quick-absorbing hand lotion. It leaves hands silky and soft, not greasy, and over time prevents hang nails -- a huge plus. It lasts through a few hand washings and to top it off, it's cheap. A down side? It doesn't contain SPF, so it's better suited for a day indoors. And dry skin types may want to swap it for something heavier, like Aveda Hand Relief, at night.

Works like a Charm
My hands gets the most dry during the winter time when it's cold outside and all the moisture just magically disappears from my skin. This hand & cuticle therapy cream is just the perfect miracle worker that helps relieve my dry, chapped hands. Especially the area between the thumb and index finger is usually so dry that it's white, but after applying this cream, that area is back to skin color! Since the formula contains soymilk, monoi oil and vitamin E, it actually also helps to prevent broken nails by strengthening cuticles. As a girl that constantly paints her nail, this feature is very important to me to have strong, healthy cuticles. The last part that I like about this cream is how it absorbs quickly and softens my hands immediately. Even after I washed my hands, it still made my hands feel soft and smooth. In fact, it makes my hand feel so touchable and I can't stop rubbing my hands together. There isn't much of a scent to this cream, but it's not too strong. Lastly, it's dermatologist tested and scientifically proven to be never greasy. The fact that absorbs so quickly probably is why it's never greasy, so it's won't smudge and grease up other things. Although, I wasn't the one who bought this, I'm glad that my boyfriend did buy it and that I got to try this advanced ceramide therapy cream. It proves that this product works well for everyone and that it really does instantly soften even the driest hands. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a lotion that can soften dry hands. It's great for the wintertime, since there isn't much sunlight, so SPF is not very necessary. However, adding SPF would be one way to make this cream a must have all year around! — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Good hand cream
As the product claims, this cream absorbs into my hands quickly, and it gives good moisture. The cream is not as thick or rich as some other intensive hand lotion or balm. But if you prefer light cream, this is a good pick. Unfortunately, I have not noticed a major improvement on my cuticles. It is still worth the pretty low price. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

A great lotion
I'm forever in search of the perfect hand cream. I purchased this product about two years ago when my usual brand was out of stock. I've been a repeat customer ever since. This isn't a super fabulous lotion to use during the winter months, especially if your hands start to become "winter skin", but this is great the rest of the year and I like that it's nourishing my cuticles since I don't always have Argan Oil on hand when I'm applying lotion. This is an inexpensive, extremely decent solution to hands that cannot seem to get enough moisture. I would love one that was a bit thicker for night-time though, as I'd like a little more in the deep moisturization category. — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
