I received this as a goody in a gift bag. This was one of the best things in the bag! I ended up using this instead of the Infusium 23 leave-on conditioner. I was so happy with the way this made my hair feel and look. Sometimes, leave-in conditioners have a really bad smell (to me), but I found this one was really nice. I was enjoying the scent and the way it made my curly hair feel. Also, as part of the Smooth Down line, there is a Heat Glide Protective Smoother and if you use those together, you have a wonderful combination that allows your hair to look its best. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with curly, frizzy, and fly-away hair. Make sure to snatch them up wherever you find them, they have been discontinued!!!!! :( — 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I recommend this product to my clients with unruly hair with a tendancy to tangle and snarl. It isn't heavy, and it really works well for those with curly hair. It treats the hair as well as provides more control. It is a great product for any type of hair that has a tendancy to look frizzy. I have past shoulder length, very full but very fine (individuals strands are scrawny, but there's millions of them on my head) sorta colored treated hair. I say sorta b/c I just use root touch up products to cover my greys. I don't do all over color. For some reason my hair always looks like I just got into a wrestling match. It tangles ridiculously quickly and then sticks out. This is not sexy bed head, this is lives under a bridge head. This product is honestly the BEST I have ever found to cure my condition. I use about a pea size amount on the bottom 3rd of my hair, and it leaves it so shiny, soft, but still shockingly full and not weighed down. It gives it this nice glimmer that makes me feel like a little bit of sunshine is perpetually reflecting off my head. Do NOT use it near your roots, or you'll end up greasy. Don't overdo it- it took me a while to realize less is more with this product. And, most important, appreciate it because its been discontinued and I haven't been able to find it anywhere! — 2 months, 1 week ago

Great for fine hair!

I have very fine hair and it is past my shoulders. One of my biggest reasons for never growing out my hair was that my hair is so prone to tangling and it's a pain to brush it out after showers. This leave-in is awesome and I am able to brush right through my hair after using this. The cream is a very light texture and does not weigh my hair down one bit. It has a nice, pleasant smell that is not overpowering. A little goes a long way, too. I use about a dime sized amount and I've had my tube for over 4 months now and I'm still not even close to running out. I love trying new smoothing products. I really love this one. I had some some really bad damage to my hair that had began to dry out my hair. This happened to be the only smoothing product I had in my home that was like a cream to blow dry my hair with. My hair as dry as it is,is always in NEED of EXTRA moisture and actually my hair even after using conditioner in the shower gets all tangled when combing it after I get out...so I was on the search for a leave-in and a good de-tangler, I am a sucker for Redken products as it is but this is one of my favorites!
