Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Hair Bleach For Face & Body Reviews

I've been using this stuff for a long time. It lightens the hair well but only does so well for my medium hair if I leave it on 2-3 minutes longer than it states too. You feel a burning sensation sometimes while it's working but I've never received any burns or rashes from it. It could do to last a bit longer but for the price it is definitely very effective and last for a while. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Better Than Nothing
I'm a dark haired girl with fair skin. I used to get teased in high school because the hair on my upper lip is darker. I started using this bleach then and continue to use it, mostly because there's nothing else on the market as cheap. It only lasts about a month, so I have to keep re-bleaching. The ammonia is super strong, makes my eyes water when I use this. Pay very close attention to the ratios, its very easy to burn your skin with this. The hairs get bleached bright blond though. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I thought was good!!
yes, it does make your hairs more shiny, but its bettter than making them dark, gross, and stand out more :P especially if you are fair like me. I got this a great price at CVS and it does a good job of lightening finer hairs (not the thicker ones, they take a awhile). I also had no problem with burning, only with places that I was sparse with with the pre-conditioner. I also like the foamy-cream idea, it didn't go anywhere — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

So-so
So, it did it's job. However, there are two drawbacks that drive me crazy and make me search for a better product. 1) The bleach makes the hair very light, but all shiny, like it glistens in the sun. So the hairs are noticeable in a whole new way. No thanks. 2) The bleach doesn't seem to be permanent. You have to continue lightening the hair or the bleach sorta fades. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful
