Bad reaction
I have used dermatologist recommended products for many years and I wanted to try something more natural and gentle. I reacted badly to the products... many breakouts. I ended up back in the dermatologist's office the day after Christmas. I contacted the company and they said I was probably allergic to one of the fruit acids. Definitely not a good match for my skin. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Truly Oil-Free Moisturizer!
This is a very balancing lotion. I love the fact that this is organic because it makes it so pure and hypoallergenic, not to mention that it doesn’t clog pores either. This was my first time trying a plant-based moisturizer too. In general, during dry seasons, my skin tends to get dry patches at my cheeks, jawline, or near the chin area ever after applying a moisturizer. With this, however, I didn't have any dry patches and it evened out my skin surface. It has no traces of silicon so it actually does help restore skin's surface and possibly boost cell renewal. I also loved the fact that it was so light-weight, even during the summer. I had no breakouts and my skin wasn't an oil slick! The best part is that its skin smoothing properties makes it possible for my skin to look and feel good for makeup application. The only downside that MIGHT happen for SOME, is that it could be sticky. That's how it was for me, so I tried a trick. I left my face slightly damp after washing it in the morning, THEN applied this moisturizer. My skin soaked it up immediately without feeling sticky and obviously, due to the dampness, the moisturizer had a better spread over the skin surface too. Overall, this is a very gentle, healing moisturizer. The only thing I could ask for is some SPF, but it really is so light-weight that I don’t mind wearing sunscreen over it. Aside from the skyrocketing price of $28 for a 2oz. tube, I highly recommend trying this product! — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not good for people with Rosacea?
I received a small sample of this in my monthly Birchbox and I do like it but I did notice that after about 10 days of use my rosacea was a bit more noticeable. I checked out their website and some of their products (mostly the peels) were listed as a no go for people with rosacea, so I'm wondering if that translates slightly to their whole product range? The smell is great and it did leave my skin feeling great! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
