Sally Hansen Comfort Shine Lip Glaze Reviews

50/50
I'm not sure on this one honestly. First off I bought this home really excited because I got it for a dollar Yay! I love sales, and this looked good and cute. However the minute I opened the package I realized it had leaked all over the inside, so that really bummed me out, I like to be able to keep lip products in my purse of pocket so I can bring them with me to work, so this is a no no for that. Next when I opened it I saw there was this tiny little gloss stick that is a great idea but I look like a moron trying to put it on my lips, it's so small and not that great a applicator. Next I was expecting a hint of color, but got none, and it doesn't taste good at all. Plus it doesn't even smell good or look that glossy on my lips. And since it had opened on me, it left this nasty waxy residue on my fingers and it's all over the aplicator itself. Maybe it's just bad luck but I can see how that would happen anyways. It does moisturize though so I'll give it that. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

good that you dont have to put your fingers in it
i usually hate the 'pots' of gloss b/c i think its a terrble idea to have to put your fingers in your product, then to you have gloss on our fingers....messy. this one has a little dipstick attached to the lid, which is nice. smells good, tastes good, shiny and feels soothing. better version of the pot'o'gloss. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Not great
It's a nice idea that they included an applicator wand because, as someone with nails, I generally hate lipgloss in pot form. The little brush is too tiny be user-friendly, though, and I lost it pretty early on. As for the performance of the gloss: It's just ok. I had the strawberry flavor. It tastes good, but that may have encouraged me to bite my lips more often than I normally would (I have a nervous habit of doing that). Anyway, I found that when the gloss wore off, my lips were much drier than usual. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

my favorite lip gloss
I am addicted to putting this on my lips because it feels the best of anything I have ever bought--I got it in Watermelon from Dollar Tree--it tastes exactly like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. It's the perfect texture, slippery and soothing, without the least bit of waxiness or stickiness. My lips look great, very moisturized & not gloppy, which happens with some Clinique lip glosses & others. I cannot BELIEVE how fabulous this is for a dollar! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Cute gloss pot
These are being discontinued because they have been on clearance at several stores and now the Dollar Tree is selling them. Barely sticky, nice looking gloss. I prefer the clear gloss colors because the shimmery glosses have a slightly gritty texture, like ground up glitter. I agree with the totalbeauty members who said the applicator is awkward, but it works. — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A good product from Sally Hansen.
Okay, in all honesty, I stole this from my older sister, but I do love it. Why? Well, its not sticky (like a bunch of other lip glosses are), it has a tingly, candy taste to it, and also, no messy applicator or fingertips. I never expected anything this good from Sally Hansen, but they have proved me wrong: good things can come from a company that specializes in drugstore waxing kits. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

sticky but smelled good
this lipgloss is sticky. it has a little brush in it and a cover so its hard to get to the sides of the gloss when your finished with the area that the brush could hit. besides that they all smell good. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Gloss, Bad Applicator
I was really intrigued by this gloss for one reason only - a no mess applicator. I purchased the color chocolate cherry (new color for fall). The color was perfect for fall with awesome pigmentation for a gloss. However, I didn't find the applicator so practical for me or my lips. My application was very bloctchy and uneven. I had better luck applying with a lip brush or even my finger. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Clever packaging!
I like it! I really like the shine and finish of this product! It's the perfect amount of glitz! I got the shade that is featured here, the sweet raspberry. It's dark anough to have a sheer wash of color. Perfect for a casual, lip-gloss only day! I wouldn't get this in any other flavor though, because those ones were light and clear (and therefore being colorless) and had no shimmer. The only thing that is unfortunate is that while this product smells good, after you put it on your lips it has a petrolatum-y kind of plastic-y smell to it that the raspberry scent doesn't totally cover. Oh well, I happen to think it's worth it. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
