Pond's Cucumber Cleaner Reviews

I like it a lot
I'm not too big on makeup removers because I just usually wash my face with soap and water. But when my face started showing signs of dryness in some spots (I don't know why, I did not change anything in my routine, but I blame whatever soap I was using) my friend gave me this one and I said ooooh, why not? So I tried it, and let me tell you, it's really great! I love it. I love how it does not make my eyes hurt or tear up as I remove mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow off my yes. It also does a great job at removing hard to remove lip stick and foundation. And it does not feel greasy or oily like other makeup removers I have tried in the past. I don't know if it is cheap, but I will definitely buy it next time when I finish this bottle. It's pretty amazing stuff. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A new favorite
I love this product. I normally use the original cold cream to remove makeup and still leave my skin feeling soft and I now I love this one. I love the cucumber scent- it is not overpowering. Another thing I like about this one is that it's not as heavy as the cold cream. With the cold cream I have to wash it off twice, with this cleanser I only need to do it once and my skin it still feeling soft afterwards. I have oily skin so I rub this in with my makeup still on, wash off with soap and then follow up with the Ponds Classic dry skin cream -- it leaves my skin moisturized so that I'm not overproducing oil and breaking out. Its not irritating and very affordable. I'm just beat myself up when I think about all the money I spent in Sephora on cleansers that dried my skin out and made my breakouts worse. I don't think I'll use anything else. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This product is really inferior to most cleansers and makeup removers on the market!
This product is really thick and greasy. And, it leaves a waxy film on the skin. Out of all of the cleansers and makeup removers on the market this one is so inferior! — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 10 people said helpful

It removes makeup.
I don't like to use it regularly, because is thick and greasy and has mineral oil in it, but as an emergency it does the work of removing eye makeup. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great stuff
After developing adult acne, I couldn't find a make up remover to unclog my pores. Either the remover caused painful zits or it was not heavy-duty enough and I became very frustrated. After doing some research, I went to the drugstore to pick up Pond's Cold Cream, but instead walked out with this. I'm very glad I did. At first I was worried, thinking the cream would definitely cause more breakouts, but it has actually lessened them. I apply the cream, tissue it off, and rinse my face with water. I gave it nine stars because it occasionally leaves my skin taut, but Cetaphil is a quick fix for that. I love this product and will stay with it for a very long time! — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Very Cheap, Very Great.
This stuff works great! It last a long time, since you dont need much to take it off in the first place, it tricks you at first on account of when you take it off your face, it just looks like it smudged your makeup around. Put take a peice of toilet paper, or a cloth and just one quick swipe across your eyes and the makeup comes clean off. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Oldie but Goodie
I have been using Pond's cold cream for about 20 years now and I have to say is better than expensive department store makeup removers. I know, I have tried them ALL and always go back to ponds. I like to apply a quarter size amount all over my face, neck, and chest. Then remove it with a warm facial towel. I also keep one in my room for when I have a long day and am too lazy to do my normal routine. I just us tissue to remove it and I don't wake up with breakouts. I have extremely sensitive skin so once I find something that works I stick to it and this is definitely one of those products that I will use until the day I die. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
