  This is really just another body wash with microbeads. It doesn't exfoliate like a scrub. You are basically washing the salicylic acid away and wasting your money. Honestly just save your money and buy a spray with salicylic acid. September 3, 2009, 9:18 pm

  A Life Saver!

  This stuff is wonderful! Yes, it doesn't come out of the tube that easily. You just have to turn it over to make it come out! It definitely DOES lather also. You just gotta use the right sponge with water! Anyways, my back and chest breakouts were horrible. I had a fear of wearing a bathing suit in public! But after about 2... weeks, half of the pimples had disappeared! It's still in the process of clearing up, but you just need a bit of patience. Plus, this scrub won an award from Allure Magazine.   not the best...but

  I have great faith in the Neutrogena brand and this is one of the reasons. After a long day, this scrub may not smell good or make you feel like you're at the spa, but it does leave you feeling completely clean and smooth. I haven't had a body breakout since I started using it. I use it once or twice weekly then a nicer ...scented body wash the other days with wonderful results. The roughly $6.00 bottle lasts a long time because of the infrequency of needed use. Make sure you shake down the bottle and be ready to get a good grip (and minor workout) to get the stuff out of the bottle, though. May 15, 2008, 11:41 am

  My husband used to have bad acne on his back. I've bought this scrub for myself and found it too rough for my sensitive skin. But it worked wonders on my husband's back! So I would give this scrub eight stars for back acne and take a few stars away because it is not gentle enough for ever day use. March 19, 2008, 7:32 am

  very average

  This product did not do anything for me, even though it supposedly has salicylic acid. Just regular scrub, although there were not enough scrubbing particles for my taste. It feels too mild, particles are too soft and too sparse. December 12, 2007, 9:07 am

  Overhyped

  While this scrub does lather really well, it did little to nothing to help with the breakouts on my shoulders and chest. After 2 months of daily use I really saw no improvement. Decent as a general body wash/scrub but for stubborn body acne it's a no go. November 28, 2007, 11:51 am

  its true! you really can't squeeze this stuff out of the bottle but when you do, its well worth the effort! i suffered from body breakouts most of my teens and this stuff keeps my skin consistently clear and glowing.Unlike the 'beauty editors" stated, the stuff does lather, you just have to know how to lather it, you n...eed a loofah or shower sponge, apply directly to those then lather away! doesn't smell too great,true, but i'd rahter suck it up for the smell for having clear skin. A true gem, if the smell bothers you too much you can use a regular great smelling wash post-use October 26, 2007, 9:20 am

  scrubs are out and foams are in!

  ladies, remeber that your skin is not the same as alligator skin! the harder you work it the harder it works, be gentle use the other body clear body wash by neutrogena, use cooler to warm water instead of hot, as hot water tends to dry out your skin. don't cake it on, use the lighter airier fluffier stuff!   It's okay...

  It works okay on the body, but when it gets the the face it breaks out completely into a big rash. Althought, I don't think it had prevented break outs. And I use it twice a day... August 8, 2008, 9:54 am

  Only for oily skin

  I think this product fits better for young customers. I used to use it as teen, but recently tried it again. It dried out my skin. If you have dry skin, you don't need this one. But if you have oily skin or after work out, this is a good item for you. You will feel clean. May 22, 2008, 6:25 pm
