Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss

This antioxidant-infused gloss combines the moisturizing power of your favorite lip balm with the shine (not shimmer or glitter) of your favorite gloss -- and it comes in eight sheer hues. Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss battles flaky, dry lips and leaves them pillow-y soft and plump (though it's not a plumper). You'll need to reapply a few times a day, but you'll embrace it because it feels so good on. And while the sticky factor is low, my hair clung to it on a windy day.

    Superbalm is Superawesome!

This Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is beautiful. This gloss is not only super glossy, it's balm-like consistency keeps lips moisturized. It is long-lasting, offers sheer color, and is not overly sticky or tacky. Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is a winner! This gloss comes in 8 shades, Rootbeer surprisingly being my favorite, and retails for $13.50. February 16, 2008, 6:43 am

I'm in Chicago and we are having some below freezing temps this winter, using my Superbalm eliminates the need for me to apply a lip balm before I line my lips and apply gloss. This is a fabulous product. February 21, 2008, 6:18 am

    Currant & Raspberry

    by jai_t (3 reviews)
These are turning out to be my favourite lipglosses because they add shine, a small amount of tint, and work really well as lip balms, too. I apply this at night and by the time I wake up, my lips are all soft. Plus, I don't get any patches of dry skin, like I do with other glosses such as Juicy Tubes. I have this one in... I apply this at night and by the time I wake up, my lips are all soft. Plus, I don't get any patches of dry skin, like I do with other glosses such as Juicy Tubes. I have this one in Currant (a very sheer berry shade, almost no color) and Raspberry (slightly more pigment than Currant) and will definitely purchase more. December 27, 2007, 1:31 pm

    Love this stuff!

I use Clinique Superbalm Gloss all the time. It is perfect for those light makeup/no makeup days and feels great going on. My favorite is Currant, it wears as a sheer berry/mauve color on my lips and hydrates very well. Even with regular use my tube is still 1/3 full so it lasts a long time too as I got mine last summer. Great lip balm

    by kellypea (4 reviews)
This is a really good moisturizing balm/gloss that goes on sheer. Great for casual days when not much makeup is necessary. The formula is closer to a balm than a lipgloss - thus it's not very sticky (if you get some on your fingers it won't be impossible to pry them apart.) Needs to be reapplied every few hours to maintain ... May 26, 2008, 6:02 pm This is a really good moisturizing balm/gloss that goes on sheer. Great for casual days when not much makeup is necessary. The formula is closer to a balm than a lipgloss - thus it's not very sticky (if you get some on your fingers it won't be impossible to pry them apart.) Needs to be reapplied every few hours to maintain the shine but will not dry out your lips like many other lipglosses. May 26, 2008, 6:02 pm

    So-So

I didn't really find that this kept my lips moisturized more than any other gloss. It's a good sheer gloss, but I would buy it to use over lipstick, or use Burt's Bees lip balm instead on bare lips. Absolute Best!

My lips are very prone to dryness, and regular moisturizers like chapstick and lip balm are not easily absorbed by my lips. This gloss, however, adds shine with a hint of color, and leaves my lips very soft (even long after the gloss has worn off, my lips are still soft.) Shiny Kissable Lips

    by yoneko_miyamoto (3 reviews)
I liked the feel of the gloss on my lips. Some lip glosses make your lips feel sticky and then dry. This one did not. It made them feel soft and look alluring.
