As with other covergirl face products, I found this to be a bit heavy on the face. I used to swear by this stuff in high school, but as I slowly wanted a more natural look, I gravitated away from it. This provides great coverage if you're looking for it. If you want light coverage, use a brush. For more coverage, use the sponge. Tip: Be careful in choosing the color. Took me a while to find the right one without looking pink. I have medium skin tone and I choose Classic Ivory. This is my favorite next to the Smoothers. I am a pale olive skinned woman and rarely do drug store foundations match my skin (most are red, pink, or orange on me). I was ecstatic when I found something that worked. This is a great product to have all year around to keep oil away. This is one of the few drug store powders I've found that works as a foundation and doesn't tend to cake or chalk unless you apply too much. Then there's the fact that this covers redness and large pores. I bought this last night, not knowing what to expect. I haven't bought CG cosmetics in years, but due to being a grad student, I've had to drastically cut back on my cosmetic spending budget. I actually really like this product. I usually don't like powder foundations. I usually find them to be too powdery, too greasy, or not enough coverage. I think the consistency and coverage is perfect. I also like how it eliminates a step for me in the mornings. It is also something great for travel. i love the coverage it's sheer, just like a pressed powder but the powder is more fine. yes, it does cover like a liquid foundation but it's natural you can't even notice you're wearing it..
