I always have problems finding a great foundation due to my super-fair skin which still needs decent coverage to look flawless. This comes in a good range of shades including Porcelain Ivory which matches my skintone perfectly. The 'dual action' format is probably just a gimmick and not really necessary... however you do get that 'makeup pro' feeling when you blend it! I find it easy to apply, with a nice silky texture and it lasts ages. I'll keep buying this one. My one minor complaint would be that it's not always easy to get exactly the same amount of base and colour out at the same time - so you might end up running out of one before the other! I love this stuff! I got hit with a double-whammy in the skin issues department... oily skin and blotchy red undertones, but this foundation offers the perfect solution to both issues. The primer is heaven-sent for any girl who finds her make-up dissapearing during the day. I love that the primer and foundation are mixed prior to application, it saves time and creates a smoother, silkier product to work with. I have found that the way you apply this foundation greatly affects it's end result. I caught a make-up artist recommending the use of a foundation brush when applying this foundation, and from the first time I used it I have also used a brush, but there have been a few early morning mad dashes where using fingers was jsut quicker. While the foundation looks great either way... when using a brush you get a much lighter, air-brushed type effect that just looks so polished and effortless. If you've ever struggled to find a foundation that smoothes your skin's tone and lasts longer than lunch go give this stuff a shot... you'll be amazed! December 31, 2007, 8:36 pm

This is a good foundation to wear out at night or at the beach, but not during the day. Because of both the lotion and the foundation combo, it is pretty thick which means that it isn't ideal for the light feeling and look that you want during the day. However, because it has an SPF, it is great for the beach. I can look natural and cover up acne/post-acne spots with this foundation but also be safe in the sun. Also, it is pretty sweat proof (thats why it lasts so long, its water proof), making it great for a day in the sun. The negative side is that even the small amount that comes out in one or two squirts is a lot when you apply it, so I end up wasting some every time I apply. Also, there is no way to adjust the ratio of the lotion to the foundation due to the nature of the packaging. December 23, 2007, 12:13 pm

My skin is super oily. And I have problem skin in that it's not acne-free. Because I'm African-American, any breakouts leave blemishes. So - any foundation I use HAS to stay put through the day AND provide maximum coverage. I decided to try this on a whim (and it was on sale). I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very light-weight formula and it goes on smoothly. It covers more than other foundations I've used, but I still have to go back and add a little more to extra hard-to-cover spots. My only complaint? I wish it came in a bigger size! November 13, 2007, 7:45 am

I bought this foundation not too long ago for when it starts getting hotter and I sweat. I wanted a foundation that would stay on. The coverage is really thick, which some people like, but I do not. It doesn't stay on as it claims either. I not only found it hard to make my skin natural by trying to blend the thick foundation, but after a few hours it started wearing off which made it look very unnatural. I have tried every foundation on the market and this on is way above the rest. I will never use anything else. You do have to adjust the amount of coverage when you first start using it, but once adjusted, great product. Can be thick but if you learn to use very little it is perfect for oilier skin types (especially as the day wears on). It does last and covers great. Can't be beat, especially considering the price! This foundation has no cool or neutral shades to it, only brown shades. It has a nice consistency to it and is longlasting. However, it made my face end up almost 3 shades darker than my neck. It's colors aren't forgiving, and throughout the day it will cause your face to look unbelievably muddy. This stuff is one of the worst drugstore foundations I have ever used. SuperStay Silky is available in 12 shades (5 for light skin, 4 for medium skin, and 3 for dark skin).
The makeup applied exceptionally smoothly! You blend a lotion-like substance with the colored foundation and then swish them all around your face to blend. The makeup seemed to melt into the face and really *did* leave your skin SILKY!
The color melded nicely and provided a transfer-free medium coverage while not making your face feel “clogged”. Another wonderful result- the makeup really did last all day! Through wind, humidity and even a bit of rain. Incredible! December 7, 2007, 7:22 am

After reading other reviews saying this was pretty thick I was expecting to get great coverage but ended up being disappointed. It is thick but didn't cover my blemishes well. Also, I started breaking out more about a week after I started using it. The color didn't work for me either. I have fair skin so I got a very light "ivory" color, but it didn't look right. Plus it started changing different colors in the bottle! Wierd. May 6, 2008, 5:06 pm
