This is a VERY good foundation. It is the perfect coverage (between cakey and loose) and comes in good colors. I literally just put a tiny dab on my hand and rubbed it in, and it completely blended in! Love it!!!!!
I have used all kinds of foundation out there. Expensive, not expensive and I always end up looking cakey after I apply it. even using a primer.. I used Covergirl before, one that came with a primer and I loved that one but its no longer avalable. I bought this one yesterday and I had my doubts about it cus it's so cheap. But I have to say, it's the best one that I have used yet. It didn't leave ...read moremy skin cakey at all. It feels natural and it goes on so smoothly you don't even feel it. I love that it comes in different number of shades., like: Light 1-2-3...Medium 1-2-3..ect. So you have different shades to choose from. Great Foundation!
I use this foundation as a foundation for light, airy coverage, and sometimes as a concealer. It's great is you want light to medium coverage and it gives you a flawless finish. It feels like I'm not wearing any makeup. I also love that it contains 50% water, which is excellent for those with dry skin. Not so great
I bought this because I was tired of breaking out, and was suspicious of all the un-natural ingredients in regular foundations. The 50% water tagline is what sold me. I usually use a concealer before I apply foundation, and this foundation seems to take it right off. The good and the bad
The GOOD: 1. For ladies with light skin, this line is spot on. While other brands tend to venture into the pink families (never flattering or natural looking), this one is nice and neutrally based (yellow, for lack of a better term)--especially light2 (the one I have). The colors are very forgiving and blend well to the point that I don't feel like I have anything on. 2. It feels very lightweight ...read moreand gives light coverage. It is great for those who don't need to cover a lot of blemishes or those with generally good skin. 3. The price--at under $6 it's one of the cheapest at drugstore and in my opinion one of the best. The BAD really comes down to preference. 1. Like I said, this is a very light foundation. Some might love this and others might need some more coverage. If you have blemishes to cover or considerably uneven skin, this foundation is not for you. 2. I'm not sure that it is very long-wearing. When I use toner at night to remove my makeup I barely see any foundation if any on the cotton pad. This leads me to believe that most of it has worn off throughout the day, even though I don't consider myself to be someone who touches her face a lot, or sweats it off during the day. All in all, this makeup is a great value for the price. It's light, cheap and the colors are right. I'd definitely buy it again. Light Coverage

LOVE IT!
This is my favorite light coverage makeup. My fav thing about maybelline is that their foundations come in a color other than orange. I like a medium coverage, but for casual days this can't be beat! I also wish all foundations came in a container like this. I have used maybelline age rewind and the bottle is glass! It was also hard to get the last bit out with that pump. Love the product!
I've been using the pure makeup for about a good month in dark tan 1,I matches my my complexion to a tee! I tried dark 2 but it was too dark for me. Very light weight and can be used with other drug store make-up like loreal true match powder in nut brown and it's concealor perfect match! No breakouts, but too watery.
True, I did not breakout into zits or redness or rashes.. But I did breakout into oiliness. This stuff did not cover my redness well, even with the powder, and made my oily look oilier than I have ever seen it be in my life. All in all, not a good foundation. My final complaint?
