Great in small doses!
Okay. I have fair skin. I think I bought this in the second to lightest shade they have. Anyway, I don't like to use foundation, either. But I have some red areas around my nose, under my cheekbones, etc that I like to lighten up (not brighten!). I also usually always have a blemish of some kind I want to hide. This product works great for all these purposes! I don't recommend this for wearing all over. I can see how people wouldn't like it everywhere. It's thicker than liquid makeup (not lightweight at all) so it covers better but could look cakey if worn all over. I just use a very small amount and make sure to blend it in so it's not "crumbly" at all. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend this for people who don't like to wear a lot of foundation and just want to correct a few areas. Buy this in a shade lighter than your skin color! Best yet!
Wow, this foundation looked great on my skin. It felt light, but it still gave me great coverage. The only downside is that I chose a shade too light, but I'm definitely going back to get me another one!! This looks even better on my skin than my MAC foundation. Good thing this one is considerably less priced. it is not worth all the hype! It did little to cover up redness and blemishes. that being said, it was cheap. All the commercials and close ups of models with flawless skin, claiming the whipped texture gives you a more natural look? Don't fall for it. The texture wasn't whipped. Pretty Cool!
I bought this about a month ago and I really like it! It has great coverage I don't need any Concealer for redness only a little for blemishes and under eyes. It does go on very matte and seems to stay for a while. I touch it up around three or four and it doesn't look cakey it just looks fresh! Love this!
I was looking for a pot concealer, and I bought this on accident, but I love it! It's so smooth and you don't feel like you're wearing foundation. I would definitely recommend this!! Love it
This is probably my favorite drugstore foundation. While like some of the other reviews say, it does tend to come off after about 5-6 hours on its own, however if you use a good primer that time drastically increases. I've fallen asleep with this on (unintentionally) and woke up with my makeup still looking ok enough to go out in public. They don't have a huge range of colors compared to some other brands, but they do have a nice selection. I've personally found my perfect color in Porcelain Ivory (the lightest shade). It matches my skin so well that you can't even tell I'm wearing it sometimes. It also lives up to the Matte claim. One Of The Best!
I must say that this is one of the best Maybelline New York Fondations. It leaves my skin flawless and doesn't make me look like I'm wearing to much makeup like a clown and doesn't leave my skin oily. But there is one con, this product works very well but comes in a small jar like countainer. Not worth the hype!
I loved the idea of a cream/fluffy foundation but the formula is horrible the closest shades to my skin tone do not even blend well it seems as if all of them have brown undertones except the porcelain shade which is too pale for my fair/light skin. On top of exchanging it twice it made me breakout! I can't say it is completely bad because despite the crumb like mess it makes it covers my pores very well.
