why such a low rating?!
i have extremely sensitive eyes and was at my witts end trying to find a mascara that wouldnt irritate them or run like crazy. i went into sephora and talked to a rep,she suggested this so i got a travel sized one to try out. this is my total HG now! i only wear this mascara,hope they dont change the formula or discontinue it like everything else i love =(This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Save your money
I'm always on the lookout for new mascaras that will give me the glam eye look that I'm looking for. When I walked into Sephora and asked the sales associate what they recommened for a false lash look with out all the work, this is the product that was handed to me. I took it home and couldn't wait to try it on! As soon as I opened the tube I noticed a strong chemical smell, but decided to try it...read more out anyway....I should've stopped at the smell! My eyelashes ended up clumping together and not looking anything like the packaging promised. Not Bad
The Lash Injection mascara comes in a fat tube. It has a medium length wand with thick bristles. The mascara comes in two colors; deep black and hot chocolate (dark brown). It's waterproof to prevent smudging or smearing but will wash off with soap and water. This will last you all day. You want...read more to apply this mascara fairly quickly because once it dries it's harder to add extra coats. Also if you put more than two or three layers of this mascara your lash will start to clump. When you use this product you will notice a citrus type of smell. I have used WAY better in this price range!
Well, like many of you, I chose to try Lash Injection because it was one of the editor's picks......and at the time the rating was pretty high for it! So, I went down to my Ulta to buy it......that was more or less 2 months ago! At first, it did plump my eyelashes and gave me that volume that I desired, but here were, in my opinion the downfalls 1) Since the brush is really large and fat, it was e...read moreasy for the product to clump up as I applied 2) the avg. lifetime of a mascara is 3 months, but this one barely got to two (yes, I DID close it tightly and I DIDN'T pump my mascara) 3) In comparison to the other mascaras that I have used, the smell of the product is kind of.....strange! Mixed Bag of Mascara Tricks
This is an interesting mascara, good in some ways and not good in others. Overall it is a strong product, but not a perfect one. I was very excited to try this mascara because I had been reading about how fabulous the "tube technology" was. I put off purchasing it because I have so many mascaras in my stash and couldn't justify spending he $19.50. Well, when Ulta had a 20% off sale ...read moreand I had a coupon . . . I pounced! I was prepared to love this mascara. I like it, but I don't love it. The tube is very pretty in black and pink. When you open the tube you will notice that the wet mascara has a scent to it. It's kind of sweet and fruity, sort of like a sweetened citrus fruit. It's not unpleasant. The smell is only from the wet mascara. When it dries it has no odor, so you don't have to worry about smelling your eyelashes. The brush is quite big. It's good at depositing enough product on the lashes and separates them well. If you are not used to working with the big brushes, it will take some practice to be able to use this brush without getting the mascara on your eyelids. But after the initial learning curve, the brush works well. The mascara is a dark black color and has a thick consistency. It coats the lashes well but the coverage in not completely smooth. It looks "mascara'd" as opposed to "natural," so those women desiring the natural look will probably not like this. I, however, think that it looks very good, striking and glamorous. The mascara tube states that is an extreme thickening and lengthening mascara. It certainly delivers in the thickening claim! This mascara gives super thick, full volume, lush lashes! If you want volume, this is the product for you. It does lengthen the lashes to a good degree, but I would not say that it was extreme lengthening like it is for thickening. The biggest flaw to this mascara is that it is not waterproof as it claims. At least, it is not tear-proof. You may be able to wear this in a thunderstorm, but don't wear it to a funeral! My eyes were wet and teary from cold weather and brisk winds and I had black smears around my eyes from the mascara. I was blotting black tears with a tissue! This is a serious downnfall for those of us who need the waterproofing, but for those for whom that is not important, this product generally holds up well. I did not experience a problem with flaking and I did let it dry between coats. Last, but not least, I found it easy to remove with eye makeup remover. I tried the warm water to see if I could pull off the tubes, but I didn't like that method because 1. I still have to use remover for the rest of my eye makeup (shadow and liner) and 2. The tubes pull off easily from the top lashes, but not the bottom ones. Really an injection

Not worth it
I tried this mascara as a free sample and I was very disappointed. It is a very wet formula. I have sparse lashes and it did not separate them at all. After I was done, it looked as if I had 3 lashes, as they were all bonding together. If you like wet formulas then buy this mascara. Great Mascara
This really plumps up my lashes and lengthens them. It does flake a bit, so I dust a little powder under my eyes so it won't stick. But I haven't found a mascara yet that doesn't flake at least a little bit.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Okay that lady down there called callmediva Let me give it too u. It smell like that so when the smell fades away u noe its expired. WHICH IS GOOD... And the only reason it flaked for u is because ur ugly and it doesnt like ugly people so it flakes. It doesnt smell bad people. It doesnt flake (only with the other lady pshh whatever). either and if u would like to try before buying. One of the best
As a gal with what I like to call "baby lashes", I am forever searching for a mascara formula that will make my lashes look noticeable. The first time I used this product I was blown away. My lashes look long and lush. I will agree that it can be difficult to remove but if you follow the directions you will have no troubles.
