Oh No! My Skin!
A bland white sheen washes over my face after applying this product and found that my young skin looked older after applying foundation. While Shisiedo seems like a great skincare line, their makeup primer faltered. This left small bumps along my neck and jawline and found myself irritated within a few hours, after washing this off, I noticed redness in my cheeks. Oh no, what have I done? I've tried quite a few primers and this one by far isn't price effective to the quality as well as the lasting performance of makeup is questionable. After a week or two of usage, I decided I was going to give this away to someone who'll probably indulge in it rather than loathe it as much as I did. No more irritation signs after the use of this product so this had to be the culprit. I'd recommend something else as an alternative, especially those with sensitive skin should try Bare Escentuals Prime Time because it has no dyes, preservatives, oil, etc. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Try smoothing makeup veil instead
Unfortunately, I was not very happy with this product. I felt it was not performing, so I consulted my Shiseido consultant and she suggested the Smooting Makeup Veil. It worked much better and also contained SPF. This primer did not smooth out the roughness in my skin like the veil did. Best Pre-makeup primer
This Pre-makeup primer works well with my skin and it seems that I'm using less shiseido coverup because of the good coverage with this product. I recommend this product to everyone who wants even coverage and covering of fine lines and pores. Best stuff yet, and I will continue to invest no matter how pricey it is. Wonderful product
This pre-makeup cream has SPF 15 and the color of the creme is this silky beige color. I really like this product because I did an experiment comparisons with my Smashbox and Laura Merceir primers and this product is so much better. It glides on and even out my face to a perfect canvas, it hides my pores more than the others. It's also long lasting, longer than my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Great product!
This Sheiseido primer works well--even with mineral makeup.
