I bought this after over-highlighting my hair, fearing that I'd weakened it. This shampoo (with it's matching conditioner) actually seemed to dry my hair out even more. You'd think that a product that's supposed to inhibit breakage would help moisturize the hair, but this really didn't at all. In addition, my hair felt like it had an odd "plasticky" coat on it that made it feel heavy. I'm guessing that's from the gelatin. I love it. I have thick course hair that gets a lot of static in the winter. This one leaves my hair soft, shiny, managable, no static, no grease! Plus it smells good. It's better than any other product I've tried, I've tried a lot after they changed my last shampoo's formula. Every other shampoo I've tried left my hair dry, crunchy, full of static, with a lovely greasy sheen at the roots!
