I have used this in the past and it nothing for my hair. I bought it because I have super dry hair, with split ends and just all around terrible. So Anti breakage huh? Wrong!! This does nothing about controlling or helping the breaking of the hair. This shampoo does not clean very well, it does not smell that great, and it does not do what it says it does. So what does this shampoo do? Make you regret you ever spent five dollars on it. Never liked Tresemme
I got a sample of this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo made my hair feel stringy and gross. No moisture at all, which is what I find really helps keep my hair from being damaged. I think I had more hair break off using this sample. The condition was bad too. I used the whole packet at once and there was no de-tangling or softening at all. Not awesome
I bought this after over-highlighting my hair, fearing that I'd weakened it. This shampoo (with it's matching conditioner) actually seemed to dry my hair out even more. You'd think that a product that's supposed to inhibit breakage would help moisturize the hair, but this really didn't at all. In addition, my hair felt like it had an odd "plasticky" coat on it that made it feel heavy. I'm guessing that's from the gelatin. Made my hair fall out!!!
I am Junior at Schilling Douglas School for Hair design. Being that I am a student I can't exactly afford the salon brands we carry out on the floor so I try to find cheaper shampoos of equal quality. I recently gave in & decided to give this shampoo a try because like all of you I wanted to avoid excess breakage. What I got instead was large amounts of my hair falling out while I was shampooing. I'm not just talking about a little extra hair I'm talking about wads of hair in the palm of my hands and in the drain catch. My hair was beautiful, voluminous, full of body & movement & lots of gorgeous curls and waves. The ideal hair a girl could dream of & now because of THIS PRODUCT my hair is flat, limp and very thin in my fringe area, the crown and my occipital regions. And no joke my crown area is now extremely sensitive. Running my fingers through it feels like pressing tiny pebbles into my skin every time. It looks like I got into a fight with a blow dryer. It is uncomfortable and it scared the H-E-Double L out of my. Please, if you are reading this. I recommend you steer clear of this product and find something else. Better safe than sorry. I've always been fond of herbal essence. Maybe I'll go back to using that. Or maybe I'll spend a little extra cash on the big sexy hair brand. I used to love that stuff before I decided to buy cheaper. Tresemme shampoos
My hair has turned into an old broom, it looks like straw, I have tons of spit ends and have never had so many tangles. Tresemme gave me the split ends, bad! strips my hair
My hair is not human after using this. I need conditioner immediately after washing because my hair sticks together. It gets it clean though.
