    Buy it!!

I never usually write about any products, but this product is the best so far. I've been trying to grow my nails since July of last year, but to no avail. I've tried Sally Hansen's miracle growth, the 4 in 1 treatment and everything else. I spent dollars after dollars also. Then a few weeks ago, my husband comes home with this product, and ever since my nails have grown beautifully. Even wher...read moree I get my manicures done, they have noticed and said that this was a good product. I definitely would recommend this product to everyone. I get manicures done every two weeks and I've been using it as a base and a top coat. It actually makes your manicure last longer and still have a shine to it. Last not but not least, it's cheap!

A miracle on a tight budget.

I have very weak, thin nails naturally. Shape wise, I adore them - but structurally they look every day the way *yours* do after a bad bout of acrylic - it sucks. I am constantly on the lookout for strengtheners, hardeners, etc. I have relied on Sally for years now, and its hit or miss. There are 2 distinct draws to this product. Number one - the price. I picked this up on a whim as a budge...read moret buy - I am sick of paying 10 bucks for a bottle of liquid nothing, but I needed SOMETHING to harden. This little bottle cost me under $4 and so far I like it better than any other I have tried. Number 2 is the pure strength. 2 coats on bare nails and my nails feel 10 times stronger. No really, I'm not making that up! My job is hard on my hands - if a couple coats of this can survive more than a day we have something special. On the other side - there are 2 things that annoy me about this product. Number one - the color. The freaky teal color DOES affect my nail bed coloring if I do not wear polish. I try not to focus on it, but the teal polish plus pink nail bed results in a slight purple tinge I am not fond of. In reality no one would notice it, but I am picky so I do. Again, my job requires 'natural' nails so I can not disguise it even if it is only to my own eyes. So far the inconvenience is well worth it, so I will only take off half a star. Number two is the consistency, but this is a matter of personal preference. It is much thinner than the *popular* products on the market. Thick glossy topcoats have the advantage of camouflaging home manicure faux pas, but on the other hand they also accumulate bubbly messes if not handled correctly. The solution here for me is 1-2 thin coats of this teal liquid steel and then your 2 color coats. Skip the Protex topoat if you need the thick glossy cover-up and use whatever - you need this as a base. For me personally I felt one coat alone was much too matte, however the second coat improved the gloss dramtically. Now again, if they would just scrap the crap teal color so it looked better bare... Another half star - its a disadvantage, but overall this is a little budget miracle for weak, thin nails.

    gives me strength

I don't have wraps or acrilics, but my hand are always in water. This does strengthen my nails against peeling or breaking.
