Best concealer, even for under-eyes!

The way this concealer goes on (use very little!) it reflects light, so it doesn't look opaque and like you have a bunch of spackle on your face. For under-eye circles it masks darkness; for blemishes it masks the redness...it's the best!11/15/2007

      Dark Circles only

      This is great for dark circles only. I dont think it stays on long enough and it is bad about covering blemishes. October 5, 2008, 9:45 pm

      YSL Touche Eclat, Eat Your Heart Out

      That YSL concealer that is so talked about (and so expensive) is just a lightweight concealer with a highlighter added into it for luminosity to help add some life to the eyes while covering circles. Jane does it better and for a lot less money. The peachy tones are what you want to neutralize blueish circles so the color...       Hidden Treasure

      This product is wonderful for concealing the imperfections that come with aging -- those red spots, brown spots, and other *joys* that suddenly appear. May 8, 2008, 9:52 am

      Really like Jane Iredale products - high quality, and you know you are not using product that cause cancer and etc. This works well, as good as the YSL toche eclat(sp?) April 22, 2008, 10:55 pm

      Best under eye concealer I've found so far!

      • Active Light is an illuminating under-eye concealer that instantly brightens the complexion while providing skin care benefits. The revolutionary formula won’t crease or crepe, because like all jane iredale products, Active Light contains no talc, leaving a smooth airbrushed finish to the skin. The mineral particles in Active Light create a soft focus effect and manipulate how light is reflected from the skin, instantly camouflaging any signs of fatigue, covering darkness and concealing dark circles.   The pen and brush dispenser allow for easy and accurate application of the vitamin and anti-oxidant infused formula which is designed to hydrate and smooth fine lines of the skin. Nourishing oils provide a base for vitamin K to lighten dark circles, cucumber extract for its anti-inflammatory and skin tightening properties and white tea extract to boost the skin’s immune function.   Buckwheat wax is also found in the formula and is added to reduce puffiness. An independent in vivo test on 15 subjects showed that 80% of them had a reduction of 10% in puffiness around the eyes after applying a formulation with 1% Buckwheat twice daily for 28 days.

      • Directions

      • Twist the bottom portion of the wand to retrieve desired amount of product. Smooth over the under-eye area until product is distributed evenly. Active Light can be applied before or after foundation.
