I have used this for years
by aileenvrn (2 reviews)I have been using JI's warm sienna for over 5 yrs now and no regrets at all, I have a sensitive skin and, eversince my dermatologist recommended this product ... I have never used any other kind since. Its pricey but worth it, I work nights and sometimes I will fall asleep on it and my Dr, said it is even safe to sleep wi...th it.

Using for Years
by VLC771 (5 reviews)I've been using Jane Iredale's pressed mineral foundation in Bisque for several years. I may try different mineral foundations but I always seem to come back to this one. It doesn't cause any irritation to my skin, covers and stays well and has a matte finish. I don't have to use any finishing powder on top of this. The... only drawback is it's very expensive. Always in my purse in the summer

Her make up is by far superior to any other mineral makeup I've tried. This product is great for stopping shine and absorbing oil while providing natural SPF protection -- who could ask for anything more?! Perfect skin

It has a medium coverage but for special occasions I wet my sponge and it gives me more of a full pancake look coverage without striking. I have sleep on it before (I know, shame on me) usually I wake up with irritated skin..., but not with JI. Try it for yourself but warning, you'll be hook!!! May 12, 2008, 9:57 pm

A Good, Yet Expensive Foundation

great coverage

awesome powder!
by notcentaurs (68 reviews)Top 500 Reviewerso this powder is great. i really love it. i don't technically own it though. i work at pure beauty and we carry the jane iredale line. and some times if i haven't had the time to put any make up on i'll use this powder. it makes my pores shrink and has some great BUILDABLE coverage. the more you layer on the more the cover...age will be. what i also like is that it's sunscreen, concealer and foundation in one. this is the ONLY powder i've ever tried that can actually be used as a concealer. i've never used a powder like that. the only draw back is that it's $48!!! that's just ridiculous. even with my 25% discount i couldn't bring myself to buy it. but i can still use it at work. and i do recommend it if you have more of a disposable income and more drastic skin issues. you'll love it! Love this product - easy and perfect coverage

Previously, I used Bare Escentuals (also a great product) but with BE, I had to conceal, then use the foundation. With Jane Iredale's product, the coverage is fantastic. I don't... have to spot conceal anymore and it feels light. The skin benefits from the ingredients are just an added bonus. - Our bases are a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen all in one. No oil, talc, FD&C dyes or parabens. On clean, moisturized skin, apply the loose powders with our Chisel Powder brush and the pressed with The Handi. Apply in thin layers. Our bases are concentrated pigment so a little goes a long way! Because the minerals reflect light, they have a much wider color tolerance than most makeup. You will never see where they begin and end. To find the right color, begin with a touch of Amber or Natural on the jaw line. It will be easy to see whether to go lighter or darker, pinker or more yellow.
