After years of tortured searching for a foundation that wouldn't flake off my very dry face, including all of the MAC products, I gave up on foundation for years. My 30s were makeup-less. Turning 40, I realized my makeup optional days were numbered and returned to the hunt. Everything still flakes. Except Chanel Vitalumiere. Moisturizing, non-flaking, can't feel it, perfect blending. The coverage is good too. I barely need any concealer. My only issue was that it might melt in the summer, but then Chanel released Vitalumiere Aqua. I LOVE this foundation. The coverage is light to medium. The perfect combo for me is ask for a free sample of Mat Lumiere at the time of purchase of my Vitalumiere. I apply Mat Lumiere in the spots I need to cover my redness( cheeks only). After I apply the vitalumiere and I glow :) I get sooooo many compliments. Women over 30 should try this.
