Lovely and Sophisticated
Most of the BEST fragrances do indeed come from Chanel. Chanel's "Chance Eau de Toilette Spray" is a feminine, classic, sophisticated mix of Hyacinth (one of my all-time FAVORITE smells), White Musk, Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Fresh Vetiver, Citrus, Iris, and Amber of Patchouli. Very Strong
Even though its a Toilette, its very strong, and a little will go a long way! Its a powerful floral oriental smell, and nothing like the Eau Fraiche or the Eau Tendre which are more light. It lasts very long throughout the day so you only need one spritz on your wrists and your out the door. If you like the more stronger Chanel scents like Coco or No 5, you will probably like this one. Lifetime fragrance.
This is my signature fragrance. I've loved it since i was a teen. Bought my first bottle in europe, and i've always had one on hand. It's sexy and sophisticated. I wear it on on important nights, like "fancy" dinners and balls. Long lasting, sexy and unusual
My rating is based on length of wear and value since scents vary so much depending on body chemistry. Any bottle of Chanel is going to be pricey, but Chance is long-lasting so that is a big plus. All Chanel bottles have a real presence so they look lovely on a dresser which is another plus. And for me this is a fantastic scent. It is a lovely light floral with a spicy depth that comes from the pink pepper, amber and patchouli. It is youthful without being young. Strong and sweet, but not overly so
I have never been much of a perfume wearer, but I pride myself on smelling nice and when I find a perfume I like I wear it as often as I can. This scent starts strong, but settles well into your skin. It isn't overbearing, but the scent stays with you throughout the day. A lot of perfumes are too sickly sweet or floral for my taste (I especially can't stand roses in perfumes), but Chanel Chance is floral without making you smell like a child. It is floral, but with deeper underlying scent tones that keep the perfume sensual and unexpected.
