Nice, oil free moisturizer
by luvme1 (6 reviews)I use this daily with the serum. My skin tends to be sensitive and gets red easily. This moisturizer is nice and light. My skin feels so sft after I use it. very pleased
by BottleBlonde (23 reviews)My local Walgreens was having a sale on this item. It sells for $20 but they were doing buy one get one free from the skin genesis line. I bought the Serum Concentrate and receved the Daily moisturiser lotion free. I was thrilled because I began to see results right away. In just 3 days my skin looks more luminous and even.... My throat looks a bit firmer too. So very glad I bought it!

This is one of the smootest serum!!!

not greasey
by patsyss (5 reviews)Very light and great to use under makeup. I use the serum and the lotion. Pricey but one little drop covers your whole face. I can use my mineral powder right after I put this on because it absorbs into the skin completely and it not greasy. Makes your skin smooth and the serum tightens your skin on contact. OMG
by singasong87 (20 reviews)I'm super-excited to have discovered such an amazing moisturizer. This is IT - no more searching for a better one!! I have combination-oily skin Asian skin, but have been using Retin-A, which has me extremely dry and flaky, but I still can't use moisturizing lotions if it's not oil-free because I break out. This is a soft g...el, looks a bit pearly when squeezed out, and is oil-free but still moisturizing. It absorbs very easily, and makes my skin glow! It was $20 at the drugstore, which may sound pricey for a drugstore product, but compared to the numerous moisturizers from Sephora and Nordstrom that failed, this is an incredible bargain. I've Become A Fan

The moisturizer has little illuminating particles in it, giving my face a healthy radiant glow. My skin feels so soft after and almost feels like a primer. My makeup glides on perfectly. I love the li...ght-reflective quality, diffusing fine lines and uneven tone. I did notice that I had to apply more on dry patches so I'm not sure if this moisturizer would be enough for the dry winter months. The capless twist-top locks, making it easy to throw in a toiletry bag and the design is chic and simple. An SPF version is also available. Overall, my skin remains to be harmonious. This is something I will definitely buy in the future when I run out (that is if something better doesn't come along before then!). July 10, 2008, 6:09 am

I can not believe it!
by musicmodel (4 reviews)I usually never used moisturizers before applying my foundation, but I recieved this product from a friend so i thought, "why not?" I used only a tiny bit but it felt so nice and smooth I had to put on some more to spread it around. A few days later I figured out that it even felt good enough to use when I did not... feel like wearing regular makeup- especially when the warmer weather came. The spf 15 has proven to be a plus also. It is a little more expensive but you only have to use a tiny pinch. July 1, 2008, 10:51 am

Good drugstore products
by carleenp (22 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerTrusted ReviewL'Oreal Skin Genesis Daily Moisturizer is an oil-free light lotion with Pro-xylane (don't ask me what that really is, because I don't know and L'Oreal doesn't clearly say) and Hyaluronic Spheres. I found it to have a nice light feel and it absorbed very quickly. But because it lacks SPF, it won't be my everyday moisturizer.... I actually have used it some at night, and primarily tested it during that time. The Skin Genesis Daily treatment is a lotion-like serum, also with Pro-xylane and Concentrated Hyaluronic. I found it similar to the lotion in terms of a light feel and quick absorption. After a few weeks of use, both products left me skin looking good and I had no issues with breakouts. I rate them as above average items in terms of drugstore moisturizing and anti-aging skin care products. June 27, 2008, 1:26 pm

L'Oreal Paris Skin Genesis Daily Moisturizer
by ss_skincare (2 reviews)Now that I am a mother of two, it has become imperative that I find skincare products which I can easily get my hands on and that will not break the bank. This is why I was excited to discover and try out the Skin Genesis skincare line by Loreal Paris. Before starting my new skincare regimen consisting of the Loreal Skin ...Genesis Daily Moisturizer Oil Free Lotion and Treatment Serum Concentrate, I did a little bit of research on the products. Not only did I find several conflicting reviews, but I also learned that both products contain a few questionable ingredients. As a skin care specialist, I am very wary of certain ingredients in my skincare, such as alcohol, etc. As it turns out, both the moisturizer and serum include alcohol and at least one other ingredient that could be considered “comodegenic” or pore-clogging. However, with Loreal having such a great reputation in the beauty industry, I thought I’d give the products a shot anyway. After faithfully using both the Skin Genesis Daily Moisturizer Oil Free Lotion and Skin Genesis Daily Treatment Serum Concentrate for several weeks, I discovered one thing for was sure. My skin was thirsty for water! While both products have a very smooth and lightweight consistency, which I normally prefer, my skin was left feeling very tight. Unfortunately, neither of these products offered my skin a sufficient amount of hydration. I also found the serum’s fragrance to be a bit strong. On the upside, it didn’t appear that the fragrance bothered my skin at all. Another pro is that I did enjoy the texture of the serum and found that a little went a very long way. In the end, I didn’t see a huge difference in my skin’s overall appearance nor did I feel a great improvement of it’s condition. However, I can definitely appreciate the fact that my skin did not experience any irritation or breakout. All in all, I would recommend these products for a younger skin type that doesn’t have any real concerns. It is a great line to keep healthy skin on the right track. However, if you are looking for an anti-aging or anti-acne product that will produce immediate or dramatic results, then neither of these products would work for you. January 18, 2009, 12:16 pm
